This came out when I was in the seventh grade. My best friend would walk down from his house and we would sit in my living room watching music videos on VH1 and MTV like we did every morning while we waited for the time to walk out to the bus stop. Good times and good memories that I wish I had cherished more in the moment because it really does go before you know it.

Sometimes music like this takes me back, then I get kinda sad knowing I'll never really be there again. Good times, the best of times.
I hadn't heard this song in YEARS!! It came out on the radio today and I was screaming the lyrics 😭💖
Bloodyy_Mari I stay screaming these lyrics
Seek the Truth, Love is calling you. And His name is Yeshua. You are a child of the Universe.. this world isn't enough for you. In Him the world will fall beneath your feet. Love will flow forever like rivers of living water from within!
This is my favorite band. They are really inspirational to me.
We were meant to live for so MUCH MORE!!!
I swear that I found my souls favorite song, bittersweet nostalgia mixed with a new hope. I absolutely love this song
This song really hit home for me. I've been living to work, when I should be working for a living, a meaningful living.
I feel you man were only put here on the earth for a short time might as well live everyday like its your last

This is one of those songs you randomly have a memory of a single note can’t remember the song but when you find it remember just how amazing a song it was. Unlocked a great childhood memory.
Anyone else think this is the best album cover of all time?
Love TH-cam for the fact when you search for a song and it show's related song's/music you may like and you realize there is a song that bring's you back and a certain sense of nostalgia sets in....Thank you Switchfoot for such a timeless and epic song!
This is one of those songs you’ve hummed and made up words singing along in your head unable to find it for years 🥲
This song hits homebase for me every time I listen to it. I have horrible thoughts sometimes when driving, I actually just got my license today and am trying to do better about reading my bible, praise the lord!
It lives forever!
2019 & beyond....
[Verse 1]
Fumbling his confidence
And wondering why the world has passed him by
Hoping that he's bent for more than arguments
And failed attempts to fly, fly
[Chorus]
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
[Verse 2]
Dreaming about Providence
And whether mice or men have second tries
Maybe we've been livin' with our eyes half open
Maybe we're bent and broken, broken
[Chorus]
Ah-we were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
[Bridge]
We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than the wars of our fathers
And everything inside screams for second life, yeah
[Chorus]
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more (We were meant to live)
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live (We were meant to live)
We were meant to live

This generation music will forever stand as the best.
Hands down one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I was lucky enough to be standing right in front of the singer when he performed in the middle of the audience :)
I remember back in 2003-2004 they came to Hawaii, I went to their concert at about 11 years old. That day, front row I gave my life to Christ along with my best friend. This song means so much to me! 💯🙏🏼
That's is wonderful. Amen
That's not a good thing
Powerful song...God use this to heal hearts, relationships and all brokeness!!❤🙏🥁😎🎶

Thank you for such a great song and a great tool!
I was 14 when this was out in 2003. I still remember it. I had my very first job at dominos pizza. Big brother in Australia was massive. Those were happier times. Late 90s early 2000s were awesome ❤.
Yeah, I miss those times.
We need to keep this music alive. Let’s teach our siblings and children and everyone we know.
Yes
Back to get my swithfoot feels. Brings me back to 2004 when I first saw them in concert!! 🎶
