I saw Deborah at the Face of Finance conference in NYC earlier this year - such a great presentation that has changed how I write our content. THANK YOU!
I've watched / listened to dozens of Ted Talks, and Deborah Bosley's is one of, if not the most concise, clear and precise presentation of them all. Viola! She practices what she preaches with a few solid and relatable examples and facts, plus simple graphics. Also, Bosley's blend of humor and fervor hold our attention. So valuable and well done! Writer, teacher, playwright B. Lau
I loved how you used the same principles of stating your purpose upfront, at the beginning of your talk, as you would in your plain language writing. Great presentation.
Deborah, Thank you so much for doing a clear and simple version of how plain language can remove confusion, frustration and misunderstandings! I will definitely be sharing this.
11:00 The Streets of Washington, DC. I've stood on the curb before and tried to parse this ... before feeding the meter and living dangerously (no ticket yet).
Thank you for this video! I will share it with as many employers as possible that hire English language learners and persons who need materials and spoken language given to them simply! It is greatly needed in the "helping" professions (health care, child and adult care, social services) and manufacturing and food service industries. It's not only needed in government! It's needed in all workplaces and public settings where diverse populations share access to information. However we can make information easy to access and use, I say we should do it!

This video made understanding so much simpler!
What you are talking about is very important in my view. Keep going!

Now, this appealed to my emotions. Deborah, well done.
I support this movement...
Thank you for carrying the banner for plain language.

Nicely done, Deborah!
Watching this before writing a 5 page essay on plain language, oh the irony.
Plain speech means accessible language, Not coarseness or crassness
Some of these are complicated on purpose. To make it harder on purpose.
Why say more word when less word do trick! :)
The somebody talking about plain English this is very bad example of clear public speaking
this, right here, is an example of confusing information
