I have just read that we are considering giving Souttar a new deal. Please don't Rangers. The guy is squad fodder at best. He is ok for rotation and as cover but not as a regular starter for me. We need to stop saddling ourselves with the mediocre. Things were looking up with getting rid of Davies. I hope we can get a new CB as starter with Propper in this week and a 10. Souttar has had alright games but he has had some right shockers as well.
Dessers joined unfit, coming into a team that was probably the worst gers teams ever. Still scored 20 goals.
Second season, should be settled. Better pkayers around him who can actually pass a ball.

I don't hate Tavernier and it's not personal. My comment here is based on where he is at defensively and what he brings and he is not good enough for me. I really hope he goes before the window shuts and we get a better level of defending from our RB that comes in. Captains at other teams get dropped when off the boil or not playing well. They take it like a Captain as well, knuckle down, show the rest that they will work even harder to get back to their best. I don't know why he gets this special deification that no other Rangers captain has ever received. He is way behind all those captains you listed for me as well. His personal stats have been exceptional at times but his ability to affect the team as captain has been poor. The trophy cabinet is testament to that in his time. For me he has had his day and should move on. I am telling you now though, I am about 99.9 percent sure Clement likes him and that he will still be here after the window shuts.
Dessers could yet become the main man. It would have been laughable a year ago but he's turned it right around. He's been brilliant lately.

Matondo should be putting in performances like that against Ross County. Overall he has been very inconsistent & injury prone !
Every year he has a small handful of games like this and then it's sicknote time. I really hope he bucks the trend and keeps that going if he stays. Though for me I would sell him at the first opportunity and buy someone or loan someone more robust for the LW with experience, to help bring on Cortes as well.
I think we may be beginning to see that Clement, given time, will make players better. Dessers, Danilo, Dio & Barron all seem to have a good attitude and that should filter through the rest of the squad. Yes it was only a poor Ross County side on Saturday but that kind of performance will help build confidence regardless of the opposition. You can only beat who is in front of you. Sunday will be a big test and I hope PC stays true to his comment in presser on Saturday that we won't be going there to "park the bus" and will be going all out for the win. We must not be reckless, but must also show no fear. We shall see.
Why is it imperative to play tav against celtic he’s far to slow the ball always get played over or past him he’s out of position most of the time and when was the last time he played well against celtic . He’s served us well but it’s time to move on thanks and good luck to him .
If Sterling can't get a run at RB with this version of Tav then he would be as well moving on.
the chances are we will lose goals from our right back position everybody knows that and nothing will be done about it tav should not play he is to much of a liabilty

Davies is away on loan and talk is the Salford are interested in Leon King. There has to be centre back/s coming in from somewhere. Also require an anchor midfielder, ten and wing. Even with those positions covered I think our squad depth isn't there. I wonder will anyone take a punt on Cantwell, or has his attitude put all interested clubs off.
Sunday will say a lot for this season.....
No matter the result as long as we see signs of progress then fans will back Clement. The only way it really turns against him is if we take an utter doing and the decisions made are baffling. Like for instance playing Scott Wright or not starting Cerny. Let's just hope for the best and if our lads are professional and up for it from the off, anything could happen. With any luck we may get new faces in as well.
Matondo was outstanding on Saturday,but that’s the problem with him usually. A game like that then back to mediocre for a few games. If he was consistent I would keep him but he just isn’t. If there’s a decent bid he’s off

If we don't sell cantwell and hagi we need to get them back into the first team we need them we can't rely on cortes and wright the whole season they ain't first team player's plus Lawrence won't go a whole season without injury
FFSTAV! isnt called FFSTAV! for nothing.He's always had a few mistakes in him since he became a player. In the past 2 or 3 seasons he's needed 4 to 6 weeks to get himself up to speed.Then he has a lengthy purple patch which in the last few years saw him as our top scorer. So far no-one in the team replaces his stats if he goes this week. He has to play in the channel between right wing and midfield and in the danger area across their goal in open play.
Humping Ross County means nothing. They're a tinpot team. The only thing that matters is what we do against that other lot. And I'm not confident at all. Rangers are as weak as they've been since Gerrard first arrived. And it took him a long time to get a result against Celtic.
Most teams are going to beat Ross County as they stand. We still need more players and need to be stronger at the back. Lets see what happens until the transfer door shuts.
I do not doubt the likes of Hearts, Aberdeen would get a similar score vs Ross County this season. We did well but and it was enjoyable. We just need to calm down as a support. There is always a chance we can beat Celtic. We shoukd always go and give it our all and believe but, they have been dominant for a long time now. We need to do our best to break that, but hyping players like Matondo and getting carried away or making big claims is not the way. I wish Clement would be more shrewd and just say we are quietly confident and focused. Thay we will give our all and then see what happens.

Dessers still has some distance to go before I believe he’s good enough to be Rangers’ no.9. He’s had a decent start to the season & his last game was his best so far, but let’s not rewrite history… he was utterly woeful last season & that was a very poor Ross County team at the weekend.
