    Awesome boots and customer service. Quickest turnaround time on any PNW boot. Ordered some around Christmas and at my door 3&1/2 weeks later AHEAD of schedule. Fit was perfect so follow the sizing on the website. This pair already wears like a heavy tennis shoe, not quite a bedroom slipper yet but close, upper is already broken in and footbed is close to being broken in. Much faster than my other PNW boots. My suggestion for anyone ordering is put Bick 4 on them and do them like a baseball glove and massage it in the first few days. Just a light coat on the upper like smaller than a dime size drop on each side. Oil the rough out and use Iron Lace brand laces that do not stretch during break in. The Iron Laces are also fire and chemical resistant with a 1500 pound breaking strength and lifetime warranty. Another great US company to support as they employee the legally blind to manufacture them. (would be a great addition to your line up Tim.) You can change out to the leather after the upper is broken in if you want. Time will tell as to the durability but by the way they feel will be outstanding. I can not say enough good things about these boots. The families story is awesome as well and let’s us know the American dream is still possible. If you are questioning getting a pair because of the price pull the trigger your feet will thank you.

      @@jkool230 Follow their sizing guidelines and you'll be happy. I'm 11.5 wide on the Brannock Device and a 10 wide pair of Superduty Boots fit oh-so-nicely.

      @@jkool230 they changed their sizing guide a month after I ordered mine and in the middle of them making my boots. They were too small. The new sizing guide seems more legit. Measure yourself on a brannic device and then order a size down from that. The width is tricky tho I’d measure the width of your foot and then call them for info on width. I had to send my boots back after waiting 8 weeks. Now I have to wait another 8 weeks and hope the 11 fits

    Just ordered the super duty in gray, so this boot... I haven't been this excited about a purchase in a long time. Such a good looking boot, and such care and craftsmanship put into them. I can't wait to get them and break them in.

    I just ordered my 1st pair of JK super duty boots and I’ll tell you one thing, JK Boots are the best boot I have ever tried on. I drove 600 miles to there store in Spokane, Washington. And I have got to say I got the best customer service ever, I literally felt like I was the only person that mattered and that store and the manager wasn’t going to leave or close the store until we found a perfect fit for my feet. Even if it took us until 10 PM at night, my satisfaction was all that mattered. And because of this I will always stick with JK boots going forward. The quality and workmanship that goes into their product is by far the best. And yes it was a 600 mile 9.5 hour drive but after my wife and I spent just over 4 hours there to get my size just right and the measurements for my custom order super duty boots it was worth it. I would recommend this boot to anyone. The only thing I have to say to people that don’t want to spend $800.00 on a boot, look at it this way. You can’t put a price on durability, reliability, support, and safety when it comes to protecting your feet and getting the support you need when you’re out working in the field. And if you have a jacked up feet knees, and lower back problem like I do, it is so worth the money to have a custom boot that’s made just for you. And if you want to get a custom boot I would recommend going to JK boots in Spokane Washington and talk to Nate. That guys knowledge and experience it’s priceless and I would recommend anyone to go talk to him.

    I just received my super duty steel toe boots. I have worn boots in construction for 20 years and this is my first pair of real deal boots. I was a little intimidated at first, break in is rough. but second day i was out in the mountains and I could tell they are legit. stepping on rocks, tundra, and uneven terrain felt better than anything I have ever worn, and I have worn a lot of boots from danners to zamberlans. This is the first PNW boot I have ever had the honor of wearing and JK has my respect and I will be getting a regular toe pair for play time in alaskas unforgiving wilderness. My only question is what type of boots should I buy for outdoor adventure?

    • @jkbootsusa
      @jkbootsusa  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wow thank you for sharing. Yes stepping into a heft handmade product like this can take some getting used to, but they will offer unbeatable support and mold to your feet over time to feel like a second skin. The Superduty will treat you well, but if you want to go with more of a hybrid style that is lighter and more flexible, I would definitely recommend getting a pair of OT's. The most versatile rugged boot we have!

      They are all knockoffs. Even Edward White of Connecticut was likely copying existing techniques. What you have is a lot of young men who apprenticed to existing builders and then went out on their own. Everyone adds their own small innovations, but it's questionable how many didn't already exist in some forn in some branch of shoe making.
