Thanks! I do my best to keep them short, but there is only so much I can cut out and still provide complete instructions. You can also always just skip ahead to the next section.
This card is most beautiful! I have not had a good experience with Distress Ink pads. I cannot get them to smooth and look nice. Nonetheless, I am going to give the techniques a try. Thank you very much for showing me how to.
Thank you! For this card I'm using Distress Oxide inks which blend much easier than the regular Distress Inks. If you are having trouble with getting smooth blends it is more than likely the type of paper you are using that is causing the issue rather than the inks themselves. I personally recommend Distress Watercolor Paper when working with any Distress Inks. Enjoy the process!
I will try the Distress Oxide inks. I will use a fixative to seal the project. I don't want it to continue to react to water when I give someone the card. Thank you for responding and offering a solution for the smoother effect of ink blending.
@@terristephens9820 In case you aren't aware, fixatives may cause the colors to brighten or change a little, but they will protect the ink. I personally never worry about it. If it's a card and you're concerned about it getting wet when you mail it, you might consider enclosing it in a plastic card envelope inside the regular envelope to add some protection. Thanks again for reaching out with your questions!
