Happy Christmas Professor. Thank you for another year of being a guiding star and a voice of reason amidst all the noise and ignorance.

Thank's for being a light in this darkness Prof. Sam Vaknin!
Last year, I was on a date, and the woman said she felt she had no value and wanted to invent a cure for cancer to make her life matter. I told her that the two of us sitting here, eating a pizza, might be exactly what the universe needs right now.

It affects others differently, but booze brought me close. It's the most dangerous when you don't know you may be in a state of vulnerability. It could be from a "beat down" from childhood family experience, a breakup after Narc destruction, etc. ... Wounds accumulate and you may not realize the breaking point. A state of vulnerability may go on for years or decades. Refusing to "off" yourself, there's a guarantee you'll not regret it. Life for you may blossom like an amazing flower.

    Shalom, Our Blue Professor! 🕎
It is not Pollyannaish in delivery, this is why it gives me time to think. I did watch the lecture from Yale on the logic of. He does the ratios on pain over time. You cannot predict. Thank You, Doctor!
Can I have a golem to do my bidding if I keep trying?? The Professor makes salient points and so, I have to concede. I am happy to, in fact.

One of my favorite lines in cinema is one of Clarence's in "It's a Wonderful Life": "Every man on that transport died. Harry wasn't there to save them because you weren't there to save Harry." Yes, it's a line from a film -- but it's still realistic and relatable.

Folks have forgotten that we need eachother. Life for us, was never meant to be in solitude, and suffering. Bigotry and fascism is ruining the human experience. We are being robbed of each other, though manufactured fear.

Thank you for your positive confirmation that all of us are part of a unquantifiable shared consciousness which has a responsibility to maintain, in our most authentic and genuine form, our existence. Furthermore current scientific understanding of our universe, including our own earth shows only 5% is “visible”. We have no concept of what role we play in the other 95% of this invisible unexplored dark space. We can’t know what we don’t know but have to admit, based on science, we know very very little.
However we do know life is rare and current science cannot quantify consciousness. Thus to me it’s rational to assume If we are born into this great reality, we are obligated to live until we die regardless of our circumstances. I believe Bearing witness to our own lives is the most important responsibility WE may have for further evolvement of life.
To all the comments stating life is hard and cruel and miserable your ethnocentric perspective is subjective and assumes life should be your way and it should be fair. Thats very human of you but you nor I have the pay grade to assume life’s struggles have anything to do with our purpose for existence. It’s much much larger than any one life form.

@@Jarek-07 clearly I can’t stop others from suicide, murder and so on. Thus the argument you’re having with me is mute. We don’t hold that power or (perceived) control over each other. I stand by my original statement.
