Honestly if you're gonna give out of gas while training, but you still need that conditioning. Actually feeling what's it's like to lose a fight from giving out of cardio and having someone ramp up their output when they notice you get tired by having the coach throw body kicks, leg kicks, clinches and sweeps is genius. Cause your opponent is gonna react that way when you're tired, lean into the techniques that make you more tired.

In the gym you have to always train hard , everyday you must workout and train till complete exhaustion , every fight is different every fighter is different , eat healthy so your muscles are very strong , always keep your tendons healthy so you have good elastic recoil and good reflexes and fast twitch muscle fiber , after sparring always eat brain healthy foods , cranberry juice or green tea for kidney health , eat a heart healthy snack and eat walnuts for liver health and eat carrots two times a week for eye health
I joined a Muay Thai class and exerted myself for 3-4 days and fell sick. Not sure if it was not getting proper food or not getting the electrolytes back. Hoping to get back to training soon
