- This is our first family holiday since Covid struck. So we decided on Turkey and we are staying at the Beautiful Tui Blue Tropical in Sarigerme.
The whole holiday was booked direct, in store with the Tui team in Barnsley.
However after doing lots of research we decided to contact
"Basket Travel Agency" and get a private transfer to and from the hotel.

How much was your taxis to the little town? Is it walkable? X
Hi Vikki, it’s definitely walkable in about 15-20 minutes. But a taxi is around £2-£3 pounds. I think it’s about 40-50 Lira. It costs hardly anything. We did the taxis a few times and it never cost us more than what I’ve put above. X
Harry’s is the cheapest shop for stuff especially cigarettes, he also delivers to the hotel 👍🚚📦
Harry’s is awesome. Friendly staff and if he doesn’t have it, he will try and get it.
Did you fly on the 6.10 from terminal 2? How was it, we have fast track so hoping we're not queued for ages. We go in a couple of weeks, can't wait.
We did fly on the early morning option, but we had a delay of 2 hours. If you’ve got fast track you’ll get through so much quicker and it’s a dedicated line too. If you’ve never been, you will love this hotel. We’re hoping to go back May 2024.
No perspex when we went in August 2022.
Due to Covid restrictions getting less all the time, they decided to remove the screens just after we returned home.
How long was your transfer?
We booked a private transfer with Basket Travel. So our journey was around 20-25 minutes.
Hello again we are going to Turkey next week just wondering is I better to spend English sterling or Turkish lira currently . I used to get a better deal on purchases using English money as apposed to the lira .was just wondering if this is a still the case , many thanks Chris
Wheres the wardrobes lol
The wardrobe isn’t a typical one, but it is straight outside the bedroom covered by curtains. Plenty of hanging space and shelves.
They dont have pork on turkey🙄🙄🌭🌭🐷🐷🐷🐷
They don’t, but the choice of food on offer, you won’t miss it.
