Ein wundervolles Instrument! Natürlich mit einem großartigen Musiker am Werk! Aber da hat Rieger echt was nettes gezaubert. Schön klarer und definierter Sound.

How many people stay behind to listen to this magnificent musicianship right to the conclusion? Probably a good many but it's a pity the camera cannot see them, although the applause at the end indicated a sizeable group of appreciative listeners.

cool! I found awesome how fast the priest was.
I had the virtuoso "mania" of startting with a toccata, tutti or any big concertant thing. But after visiting Brussels and some other places i saw that it is much more interesting and effective for most masses to start the mass in a more "low-fi" mystical mode, and that the communion is good to start very discretely, and at the end call more attention. But the "bravura" mass opening is important to be practiced somehow, because some masses will actually ask for it. HEre in Salzburg the improvisation at the cathedral was many times very systematic and barroque, so i got very influenced by pursuing this sound.
There were 3 priests to offer the communion!

Das Pedal kann geteilt werden in ein Bass-Klavier und ein Solo- Klavier mit 8‘ oder 4‘ c.f.! 😀
Also übernimmt der LF die Bassfunktion in der großen Oktav und der RF den c.f. In der kleinen Oktav!
