I believe the pick is Maye. My reasoning is this: Dan Quinn went to the Super Bowl with Matt Ryan, Atlanta didn't win the Bowl, but that doesn't take away from the fact they got there. Quinn has been counting the days until he got a second crack at being the HC. He has surrounded himself with his guys; guys he trusts and knows. Player acquisition is following a similar trend. What QBs have games similar to Matty Ice in this years draft? Maye and McCarthy. 2nd overall might be a bit rich for McCarthy, which is one reason I'm leaning Maye. Maye is often comped to Justin Herbert, but I believe Quinn sees this kid as a bigger, faster, stronger armed Matt Ryan. Its' the reason at Maye's pro day, he looked like someone had just handed him the keys to a brand new Ford Raptor. Peters, of course has the final call, but he and Quinn have been on one accord all offseason. I'm not anti-Daniels, but his play style is nothing like what Quinn has had before. I know the Kingsbury link is a factor in regards to his past association with Murray and Williams, but bottom line, he's not the head coach. Quinn is; and Kingsbury will be expected to coach, whoever is picked. I could be totally wrong; and I accept that. Just my two cents. HTTC
