this is such a bad pos system why are there 3 different icons to look up a transaction? one for details. one for transactions. and one for orders? also what is the function for "open orders"?

      Hi Steffy,
The reason there are 3 different apps and why its good:
      1. Transactions are complete in a sense that services have been rendered and payment has been made. Transactions cannot be deleted but can be refunded against.
      2. Open orders are incomplete. When you visit a restaurant and you sit down and begin ordering an order is opened and it stays open and you can continue ordering to it as customer. same goes in a grocery shop an order is a shopping cart and its not guaranteed a payment and can be deleted.
      3. Cash log is important because of the kind of reconciliation you have to do with your employees. Imagine a scenario when customer leaves some tips to the server on the card. in order to pay the server their tips you could take out the money from the register and log it in cash log as tip payment against received payment on card.
      Hope this helps you understand.
