脚のワイヤーを描く練習 : Drawing Practice Legs

the do/do not aren't really great since they are short format usually bu one picture only or a process really abstract/not well executed
it's better to learn from experts than with tutorials most of the time :) you can watch the process and make it by yourself by adapting to your style !

I think the most useful thing was that he was showing us his refrences and did the whole thing with the bones and the outlines, slowly, without distractions, and with a clear view.

Best way to learn is to study a bunch of artists that you like and try and recreate their work or follow along in their practice/tutorials. And also then drawing from real life using the techniques you learned.

For everyone who's wondering where to start or what to look up for. I wrote a little guide for starters :) Depending on what area you want to develop on, search it up. I left a comment like this on another TH-camrs video, that few people found helpful. I rewrote it and gave it a little bit of structure:
So first of all, where to start?
I think it depends on your motivations and goals.
But generally I would say: 1. Try to draw daily 2. You should use reference, especially when you're a beginner 3. Don't watch TOO MANY tutorials! As with all things, the theory is useless without practice.
You will fail a lot and get frustrated once in a while, but this is just a natural thing while learning to draw.
To spare at least some time doing research and finding some material, I want to share a few tips and stuff I use as reference that I learn with.
The most important thing: The Basics! So before you really get into detail, you need to have a solid and very good fundamental understanding of basic shapes and perspective, because you can nearly break anything down into simple shapes. So learn how to draw cubes, spheres, cylinders etc. into different perspectives and lenghts. You can easily do that with 1, 2 and 3-Point perspective. You need to understand that if you can do the basics, you can apply this to the more detailed and complicated stuff later on!
About perspective: This is the most common question. What to look up for. In the end of this „article“ lol I will give you some TH-cam channels and books you can use!
About anatomy: Keep it simple! Don't try to draw too detailed muscles or faces. Remember, you can break it down into the simple stuff you have to learn! Again, I will give you some useful reference material as well.
But what to search for exactly? Depending on what you want to draw! Realism? Anime/manga style?
Many people want to draw manga or stylized stuff in general, so I'll go with this although realism is kinda the same.
Pinterest is my best friend. You'll find tons of anime character sheets, eye reference, head reference poses etc. Quicktip: Don't search for pictures individually. Looks up for pin walls. (Way more reference of the same type). Oh and you can also search up manga online! Lots of perspective, poses etc.
sketchfab is really useful when it comes to three dimensional forms. You have 3d models of organical or mechanical forms. This helps you developing a three dimensional sense and you can also understand perspective a little better!
And here you're free to work on what you want. Issues with drawing female curves? Search up "anime bikini girls" or something. (you don't have a lot of clothes there, you see exactly where the body parts are) Speaking of body parts, learn the proportions of the body (where is the pelvis placed? where the ribcage? Etc.) The point is the character sheets, anime bikini girls etc. were drawn with a lot of effort and as a result are mostly proportionally right)
At some point you might find yourself having difficulties with getting a three dimentional feeling to your drawings, if you are interested in what this is about you can ask me! Tip: you can use sketchfab for this as well ^^
Don't take the next one to seriously but..
Try to draw it once on your own from reference and then trace the reference directly on paper (maybe with a drawing tablet, lightbox or directly from your desktop lol) But pay attention!!! Don't trace it for a good looking drawing! Trace it on paper, because of your perception! If you have it on paper you perceive it differently than on a screen. (Not everybody has this "issue" but try it, sometimes your brain is really tricky lol) See what you did wrong and correct it. It sound stupid but it works oftentimes. Another possibility is to work with grids to see the angels a bit clearer and help your eyes adapt to drawing a little faster!
You might get frustrated at first, make mistakes, erase a lot, won't have time or motivation, but if you are passionate about drawing then this will not be a big deal! Don't stress yourself too much. Not only work on your drawing quality in general. Work on your line quality as well. And don't forget, not only your hands learn to draw, your eyes do as well! I'm not a professional or something! This comes from my experience. If you have questions or something else to mention, feel free to ask :) Don't feel discouraged too fast and give it your best! You can do it! I have discord, if you have further questions! R4z0r32#1607
As for perspective: Dan Beardshaw, moderndayjames and Circle Line Art School on TH-cam.
Books: How to Draw by Scott Robertson, Perspective made easy by Ernest R. Norling.
As for anatomy and all kinds of stuff: Proko, Kuzomari, Alphonso Dunn, Akihito Yoshitomi, Angel Ganev, Drawing Art Academy, hodraw_official (subtitles), Sycra, JeyRam, ChromaMoma, manga materials (subtitles), pin2d figure drawing playlist (subtitles)
Akihito Yoshitomi sensei is the best example for making simple shapes into beautiful drawings!

@@williamdavidortega6968 I mean even pros use the basics almost everytime! As a beginner, many people feel a bit overwhelmed by all the new stuff to learn. Many people are just not patient enough. If you study smart and keep practicing you can improve so much within a short time!

It’s your brain. Your brain just doesn’t know how to place things and think 3 dimensionally but most people just need the mind for perfect execution. You don’t KNOW how to draw and your hands don’t learn to either.
