Beautiful landscapes, beautiful land and even more so its town, from where my family came to Chilean Patagonia, to Magallanes, Chile. Greetings from William Sutherland, from Punta Arenas, Chile

This is great work that really captures this wild and wonderous place. I wild camped all over this region back in the 1990's. I love your 'making of' and the narration is beautiful and the voice simply beautiful.

I have had the shear pleasure of immersing myself both on foot and on my bike into the beauty of Sutherland, for she can slap you in the face for just being there or she can recognise ones appreciation of her beauty and reveal herself in much splendour. She can be moody, but soften to those that are determined to explore and appreciate her for whatever mood she is in. But beware NC500 appears to invite people not welcome due to their contempt for the balance of her life and the ecology of her soul. So people please tread lightly upon her, accept her ways and love her for what she is Sutherland for she is in my heart and never to be forgotten.

Beautiful. I lived up in Durness in my academy years for a bit, but being so young, didn’t fully appreciate Sutherlands beauty.. Now living in NZ, I long to go back for a cycle and walking adventure in this wonderful part of Scotland.
      My homeland.

Wonderful film, thank you for all your amazing hard work. What an incredible place, it has a haunting but majestic combination of loneliness and allure. It was on my shortlist of areas in Scotland to move to from England but I think I would seriously miss trees.

Wonderful film guys. One of my favourite parts of the UK - just can't get there as often as I'd like.

A land 'tamed' with Spruce/Hemlock plantations in the glens, sheep on the hills, and owned by a few well healed English and Danish. All after the land was cleared of its folk for profit. Beautiful, rugged but not untamed. Great videography however man. Must have taken some time. 👍

Untouched? Hell. That's my family's ancestral home. We were run off during the Clearances.

Sutherland is not "untouched" by man. Today it is mostly a treeless wet desert that has been made that way by man i.e. by his cutting down most of the trees, grazing their sheep and allowing the deer numbers to grow too high. It can be restored to it's natural beauty, with natural woodlands and native animals (in correct numbers) - but only if man makes the effort to do this.
