It's honestly SO fun to see you exploring Amsterdam! I work like 10 minutes away from the Adam tower and always walk where you guys are walking at 10:45! Hope you enjoyed your stay! (:
I would love you to do a sit down video on how you have become a lot more flexible with your diet - like for me, not knowing where/what I will eat, having to change up my usual diet; and new foods is something I still kind of struggle with but you seem to have got it nailed!

Holly, I went to Amsterdam with my father 10 years ago and it was a very nice city. We went to see museums, the zoo, and Anne Frank's house and we bought the tickets coming in to visit her house. I do not remember visiting the Science museum. My father and I did walk along the canals and saw a lot of bikes.
It was lovely to see that you enjoyed your stay and went to the vintage shops that I recommended. I can totally agree that it's so chaotic in Amsterdam and couldn't live there either. And Albert Heijn, you pronounce that as Albert Hein, it's a little bit difficult, I think 😅
Monica has a talent for choosing good food/pastry. I always get the worst one amongst my family when we eat outside.

That is so awesome you were in the Netherlands. Amsterdam is indeed a beautiful city but you need to go to Rotterdam that is where I live and it is also a very beautiful city. If you are going to Rotterdam maybe next time you need to go to the Meent that is kind of a street where you have clothing stores and you have a place called the Markthal and in that place you have a lot of good foodstalls and also nearby the Markthal you have a library where you can read or borrow books with a card❤. You also have on some days there a big market. Also on the 27 of april our King celebrated his birthday and in all of Netherland there are people celebrating and there are stalls with people selling their stuff that other people can buy it is always a lot of fun😊.
Another tip top travel vlog ,the cycles are crazy in Amsterdam almost militant 😅

To pronounce Albert Heijn, Albert ya did correct. Heijn is like mine, so like hine. Without pronounce the e to much on the end
ooooo where abouts? Just because the centre is so busy and I couldn’t imagine living there 😅
@@HollyGabrielle I live in the hoofddorpleinbuurt. If you go from the centre through the Vondelpark all the way to the end that’s the neighbourhood :-) The centre is insane, I barely go there haha. Used to live in The Pijp, but only lasted for 6 months haha - just too busy! But I love my area! Vondelpark is a 3 minute walk, Rembrandtpark also 3 minutes. There a large canal one street away where you can swim and kids play in summer. And the Amsterdamse bos (the woods) and the Nieuwe Meer (the lake) is 6-8 minute by bike! It’s such a friendly area. You’d love it!
If you compare the restaurant prices to London I think they are similar. Think about 12,5% service fee. You don‘t have to pay extra for the service in the Netherlands.

4.50€ plus 1.00€ is a ticket for "one city" to expensive !!!
düsseldorf DUS is 3.00€ ticket-level A for one city and the train is not a sprinter it is more and more a regio-bahn or for lucky trewellers a regio-express ( 🤔 both trains rise up to 80km/h ...but it sound hilarious "express" in Düsseldorf )

i don’t understand, how is it accessible by train when they’re in england?
There's a direct eurostar from london to amsterdam
The Eurostar is sometimes all booked up if you don’t book it far enough in advance
I do far more than the average individual to do my bit for the planet. just because I openly talk about the environment, it doesn’t mean to say I’m perfect and that I should always be the target of such criticism. if you’re going to point the finger at me, then why not everyone else (who probably flies a lot more than me and doesn’t do as much of the planet)? 🤷🏻♀️
It wasn't really criticism, it was more of a fact actually... but it does seem like you're justifying yourself with your good day-to-day habits. While those are great, flying essentially cancels out those positive impacts unfortunately... just something to think about!
amsterdam is beautiful because there are treasures of our country Indonesia which were confiscated during the colonial period which caused my grandfather to lose three of his siblings because they were killed by Dutch soldiers
