Mi completely understand weh gage a say...my view is its not only in music but the jamaican society in general. Ive noticed that the older men and women who are successful dont really pass on their knowledge to the younger men and women...now a days is like everybody is for themselves. If they're not passing on certain knowledge or providing certain opportunities for their child or family members then they keep it to themselves. Is like they dont believe in being mentors again...everybody just wants go to work and go back home go sleep without stopping to help or give a word of advice or even encouraging the yutes to keep trying. Gone are the days when a community would raise a child...people dont really care anymore🙏🏾

Many people including me have criticized the hosts(Naro and Ari) of not conducting quality interviews ie not asking thought-provoking questions. However it appears that they took the criticisms well and have done good research in sharpening their interviewing skills. The line of questioning in this interview is very good and in my opinion , is the best interview so far. on a side not big up to Kimmy my favourite girl

Naro is right. .....the music by some of these younger artistes reflect the evolution of dancehall and will take some time for people to accept it. I've been following dancehall for a long time and I believe that by the time people get around to accept this new sound Gage and some of his young friends will be too old to hold a mic. The truth about dancehall and reggae is that the older generation of artistes were just way more talented than this younger generation and that is partly due to the fact that the top producers back in the day would only voice the very best so artistes were more motivated to work hard. I have been listening to a whole lot of new dancehall by artistes such as Gage, Alkaline, Popcaan and honestly I would not pay a penny to see any of these guys perform. People are still more inclined to dance to the older artistes like Kartel, Mavado, Buju, Killa, beenie, Shabba, Capleton, Sizzla etc because the older ones are more talented plus they have more melodies. The music by gage and others of his generation is pretty tasteless...bland

Naro and Ari please do me a favor and pre-arrange a follow up interview with Gage for the year 2022, four years from now. It would be good to see how much progress he has made. It's one thing to criticise your elders but it is quite another to prove that you can do better. You actually have more tools at your disposal than what Josey Wales and Bounty killa had. By the way, the follow dancehall artistes have won Grammy: Bounty, Beenie, Shabba(back to back), Shaggy, Junior Gong, Buju Banton, and Sizzla and Devin di Dacta have received nominations.
