Can I joust say that this is one of those bands that it’s just a shame the whole world doesn’t know about them. I’ve luckily never needed the help of a song to get through, or at least they don’t really help. But if you have any empathy, these songs are so powerful, even if I genuinely don’t understand what most of them mean. Circa survive is an extremely talented band. If I could stop the world I would tell it about this impeccable group of people
I came here to say the same thing. 8 YEARS LATER! This bands amazing. I need to re-listen to everything like once or twice a year or I feel like somethings missing. Like an old friend that you’ve just gotta call right now.
To me it's about depression. "As the daylight comes around I turn, with my eyes on the back door." The back door, to me sounds like suicide. I know my depression keeps me in bed when the sun starts to rise.
Yep....hes always high on something...or at least back when these songs were made. That's why you can burn one to everyone of their songs and just chill out to it

So sad but beautiful I love circa survive I'm 33 and been listening to them since I was 19, amazing life long band, my Beatles.

he had drug addiction issues and had them for a while. Think hes doing better now though :)
