Baki Hanma vs Toji Fushiguro, these two are essentially the physical prodigies of their own respective verse with Baki managing to overcome the strongest forces of his verse, while Toji rose to power in a world full of sorcerery with nothing but his bare hands. In this crossverse scenario we’ll say Toji will be hunting down a Baki who’d just apparently defeated his father and is now proclaimed to be the strongest in the world. Basically meaning this will take place after the father son quarrel event in Son of Ogre. And this Toji will be the same one from the Hidden Inventory event, so he has access to his tools. With that aside, let me explain why this debate is lowkey a mismatch. We’ll talk about Toji first since he’s easier to get along with than Baki. Toji Fushiguros scaling unlike most jjk characters is a little more annoying to scale, due to him not having cursed energy. Meaning like the usual feats that are used like Jogo and Dagons domains generating enough energy to destroy mountains, can’t be used since these are mainly constructed with cursed energy which Toji doesn’t have.+ domains are just hax based abilities that buff the specific user. I’d be playing heavy mental gymnastics if I said Toji could just survive iron coffing mountain by flexing, so instead we’re going to go a different route. I think I've given you an idea where Baki is as a martial artist, so let's talk about what would happen if the son of ogre was met with the sorcerer killing anomaly, Toji Fushiguro. The fight would begin with Baki casually walking down the street like it’s another day of school before then seeing a man lock eyes with him 20 ft away. He would appear to be a normal looking dude with a decent physique, but Baki can feel the pure bloodlust that the man is emitting with just his cold stare. Baki would see something weird wrapped around him before then seeing the creature, take out a blade that Toji takes. The moment Tojis hand grabs the weapon he blitzes towards Bakis way, but luckily Baki already saw this coming and easily evades the blow, following up with a solid kick to the head. The assassin would immediately look up as his leg lands on his head, showing that he isn’t the average opponent. And with that, the fight really begins. That’s my cool little chicken nugget intro for the battle, pretty cool huh? Anyway with the scenario in your guys' head, let me explain exactly what would happen. In my opinion Baki and Toji should honestly have comparable AP as they both upscale massively from the town level feats I presented. Only difference here is that Baki was reaching these feats before his peak and scales to the levels Toji MAYBE scales to. I only say maybe because there’s no way Toji just flexes off let’s say Jogos meteor attack or his domain. Or even Sukuna Fuga back in shibuya which only turned the city into ash. You could be very generous to Toji and unfair to Baki and they’d still be relative. Which would lead into Baki utilizing the dozens of styles he’s learned over the series that allows him to either rip Tojis vital cords to remove his senses, doppos style of karate that allows him to break bones easier or have a perfect defense to all techniques, shibukawas reflection which is just Garous style on crack, and pretty much any martial art that is on the planet and then some. This isn’t even acknowledging the speed gap between these two which doesn’t even matter in Baki because as long as Baki can perceive him, in a martial art sense Toji will always be slow and never hit him. Now IF Toji somehow connected the soul blade then yes this would be a valid win but too bad Toji quite literally will never touch him and be disarmed almost the instant he gets close to Baki. Baki beats him in 13 different ways and this matchup isn’t close

i havent watched this sht but there is now way toji loses,pickle didnt survive the metiorite ,he was locked in a mountain of salt that preserved his (dead ) body
Baki is on such a bullshit level of skill that this kinda reminds me of Toji vs Sakamoto in that the skill gap is just wayyyyyyyyy too much to overcome
For clarification Baki was never superior against Yujiro in that fight, Yujiro never had the intention of killing baki or even hurting him badly in the first place, until the fight went on Yujiro took him a little more seriously and even allowed baki to get decent hits on him. Not to mention Yujiro litteraly Knocked out Baki 2x without even trying, and littearly after the fight Baki was left very damaged with broken ribs, blown out ear drumbs, broken skull , internal bleeding etc. While Yujiro was left with no significant damage , and i know what your going to say but but Yujiro declared Baki the strongest, in context and in the fight he wasnt winning in anyway and the reason Yujiro declared him is cause prior to the match Baki wanted Yujiro to cook for him and Yujiro made up an imaginary meal for Baki at the end of the fight
to add onto this the fight was themed after a father son scuffle. it was no different then a kid showing his father the macaroni art he made.
Bakis girlfriend commented on why They kept going when Baki lost like 10x and they both just kept going at it stating she doesn’t understand.
Yujiro just has insane respect for baki because hes the only creature who doesnt die against Yujiro with one tap

This isn't accurate either, after baki activated his demon back which he can't do at will which is the reason he had to take damage first, yujiro didn't hold back physically, he only didn't use his full arsenal of techniques.
Also by the end of the fight yujiro had used all his op techniques and only won because he had greater mastery over them than baki plus being physically stronger.
But to say yujiro was not going all out isn't accurate considering he had done much worse on baki on the past.

Yujiro never intended to even fight baki that day, he just wanted a simple meal with Baki, Baki then persisted by acting rude to Yujiro then Yujiro states that he is disciplining his son, Yujiro never used his op attacks to its fullest lol, even Baki tells yujiro to go all out because his not hitting vital organs. Are you gonna forget Yujiro litteraly immobolized baki in one hand just to pat his head this is including demon back btw. Also the fact that Yujrio never genuinely got knocked out by Baki yet Yujiro knocked out Baki 2x shows how disengenous your being. And the undebunkable part is that when the fight ended Yujro left with no significant damage while Baki had broken bones, internal bleeding and busted ear drumbs

This version of Garou doesn't have any technique that can destroy the body of his opponent on a cellular level, and Mahoraga can regenerate on that level while gradually adapting to Garou. The speed and power gap is honestly not that wide.

Yea, Baki didn’t beat Yujiro in a physical fight, he was only considered the winner because he was able to make Yujiro think that the food that Baki created out of his imagination was real. Baki stills scales somewhat to Yujiro though.

Base Yujiro is where most of the feats mentioned in this video come from, the instinctive lighting reaction speed, the casual earthquake stopping punch etc.
So the fact that Baki could clash with and withstand hits from Base Yujiro (mind you, a Yujiro using techniques) and push him into his demon back form, even if he did that just out of respect, Baki would still be relative to Yujiro regardless.
So even if you think it’s a low diff or whatever, it doesn’t change a thing in this match up as both Yujiro and Baki simply outscale the feats shown from the past. Especially since Yujiro grows stronger with each passing day, just naturally, so much so that Yujiro of today would beat Yujiro of yesterday.
So Baki showing relativity to even base Yujiro at that point means both him and Yujiro would defeat the past Yujiro who stopped an earthquake.
Like I said, low diff or whatever, it’s completely irrelevant to Baki’s scaling.

Baki knocked out Yujiro once and forced Yujiro to rely on raw physical stats rather than martial arts in order to get out of his submission hold which was a fight ending move. In terms of pure martial arts skill, Baki was superior to that version of Yujiro
And Baki was also faster than Yujiro as well, especially highlighted when Yujiro used his fathers tech and Baki was fast enough to make a toy out of the car parts he was being smashed into while Yujiro never saw or perceived it, and in general Baki was shown to be faster than Yujiro

Funny thing about Toji is apparently he's at full strength during Shibuya due to the name used to reanimate him, "Toji Zen'in" and seeing how a 15 finger Sukuna did Jogo, it makes sense a full power (non mental nerfed) Toji is manhandling Dagon, what is really interesting is that with all his tools, could he actually beat current Sukuna if it was in a 3v1 with Maki and Yuji? 🤔

Baki feats aren’t even consistent. It’s the type of series that’ll say someone can tank a missile then get injured by a magnum. I’m so over how everyone scales these characters strength saying they can beat anyone who realistically will SOLO the verse. The author doesn’t even have their mind made up on how strong they want the characters to be, I think that’s just bad writing or an ignorance to what some feats actually measure up to

Baki would be missing one of his most op abilities if you use baki from before the musashi arc as he learned to read the mind waves of his opponent being able to predict his opponents move before his opponents are ready to act on them
Baki could also use his total concentration, cockroach charge, and performing an attack before your brain could receive the signal for your bodys next action (forgot the name they used.)

- 3:41 problem is no Baki character has survived a nuke, the closest to it is Yuichiro (Yujiro's dad) who they considered nuking but it was called off. Government officials also weigh the possibilty of Yujiro being nuked could very well work, but they don't wanna to try since Yujiro is always close to civilians and they don't wanna kill millions of people in the process, thus why they think he'd have to be in the middle of the Sahara desert for it to be a viable strategy.
- 3:47 The asteroid never actually hit Pickle. Chicxulub crashed into the Gulf of Mexico, Pickle was frozen in Colorado. And Oliva absolutely did not shake the planet. And even if Pickle and Oliva did this, the city-mountain level scaling would be extremely inaccurate.
- 4:15 Katsumi's Mach Punch and more importantly his Hitless Blow is a whiplash effect. It isn't launched at Mach 78 nor does it travel at that speed. It only reaches those ridiculous speeds the moment before impact. So it would be disingenuous and ignore the actuaal technique to say Baki and Yujiro can hust fight at this speeds normally. Yujiro blitzing the cops was only called at Supersonic+ and he still as never actually dodged lightning. It's only someone talking about him in a hypothetical scenario, he has yet to prove he's this fast. Baki's speed is crippled by the fact that he scales to Yujiro, who could not intercept or react to Baki's 0.5 Second Unconscious Jab, a punch that happens within the span of just half a second. As well as the fact that his Cockroach Tackle, arguably his greatest technique has a canon speed of only 168 mph.
This match is literally Baki vs a considerably faster Yujiro, aka Toji.

Bro completely forgot to mention that toji isnt just "fast" or "strong" his heavenly restriction makes him superhuman, baki goes beyond peak human, especially with the roach tackle's acceleration, but the narrative of their feats in baki really don't compare to what we see toji do in jjk, there is an argument for baki surpassing tojis speed during roach tackle acceleration, but toji consistently moves so extremely fast, he is able to avoid gojos cursed energy attacks, and completely speed blitz a retreating megumi with ease, if we are being totally honest, baki would not be able to do half the things toji does in jjk, for example if megumi summoned his rabbits against baki as an escape tactic, there is 0 chance baki is reacting and oppressing the technique with raw power and speed the same way toji did. Arguing baki is comparable to his father to argue he can compete with tojis consistent speed and power is disingenuous as burst speed is not the same as general speed, baki isnt nearly as fast as toji in a constant scenario and theres likely a chance toji could even dodge or directly tank roach tackle, stay away from power scaling bro cuz u did not properly analyze the characters, your lack of narrative awareness makes it seem like u didn't even watch these animes.
It's crazy that you bring up narrative speed into this considering we have an exact number for toji speed given to us narratively. It's below mach 3 it's so below mach 3 that it's even implied he won't be able to perceive something moving at mach 3 considering his narrative equal aka maki wasn't able to.
Now let's see Baki or no let's see Katsumi who is widely regarded as fodder in the maximum tournament from the 90's series of Baki we were verbatim told that he is several times faster than sound with his basic mach punch and he only became faster and faster until in his last appearance we saw him create his hittles blow that was verbatim stated to be 1000miles per minute or even faster depending on which translation is correct with this one being the slowest making Katsumi narratively at least casually hundreds of times faster than peak toji.

Yujiro is consistently stated to be stronger than the any weapon and the whole U.S.A itself, even prior to the fight the defense minister of Japan said that Baki vs Yujiro is similar to that of 2 nations fighting. Toji would scale to Dagon regardless of having CE because he overpowered his reinforcement with his weapons. Neither scales to anyone's domain because they use much more energy than all their other attacks, hence why most can only use their domain once per day.

This has the same problem as the Hakari feat where Maki's movement is only shown after the bolt already hit, meaning she wouldn't have to scale to the timeframe.
Toji never 'perception blitzed' Nue's lightning in the anime, and I don't know how you can perception blitz lightning and not be lightning speed. He moved his neck a tiny bit while Nue's lightning travels across the room scaling his speed below Nue's lightning which I'm not sure if there's any calcs for to scale its energy to be lightning speed especially considering this Megumi is greatly fatigued.
