When i saw this animation I imagined Raven's semblance worked like Wifi signals and she felt her connection to Yang "reconnect" after they exited the Ever After. Either that or in her grief she was trying every day to open a portal to Yang only to fail until this day.
I’m getting the feeling this might be how we end episode 1 of Vol 10. I would actually like seeing Qrow and Winter situation before the team returns back. Then episode 2 will explain how the team returned and how Raven found them. I’m guessing Raven felt Yang back and went straight to her. It’s a perfect way for Raven to come back and her to explain what happened with Summer.
This whole sequence probably wouldn’t have fit very well as an epilogue or a conclusion to the ninth volume though I feel like it would either make for a great opening for the first episode or the ending to the first episode before the volume’s theme song would play
Qrow, Tai and even Yang don't know that Raven went on Summer's final mission, Ruby only knows because of the tree. Raven opened a portal, probably to Vernal or a member of her tribe, and that's as much as we know. Hopefully Raven can reveal what happened to Summer. I love the way Jaune's face lit up like a Christmas tree, when he saw Ren and Nora again, for the first time in decades.
I Can’t believe I got goosebumps and the tiniest bit of misty eye when Nora and ren rolled up when I watched this first last night 😭 god this was so good and the voice acting is always just 👌 absolutely can’t wait for next volume. The quality of this series is the highest it’s EVER been 😤
This is a canon scene that was cut from Volume 9 and will be included in Volume 10, following the events of the Volume 9 finale. Nothing in this scene is from an alternate timeline, so I'm curious why you thought this might have been from a timeline where Raven retrieved them from the Ever After herself instead of them leaving through the Blacksmith's door. So not only _some of this_ will be included in the Volume 10 premiere, but pretty much _all of it_ with some slight tweaks that might condense it a little. Also yes, Michael Jones did record for Volume 9, and this "epilogue" (cut scene from Volume 9 Chapter 12) was presented as only "part of" what was cut, and RT left out any scenes that had to do with setting up plot-related things for the Vacuo arc.
@@theredeft5319 if you have information about something from the future, where everything is not perfect, but you know that we got there alive, you are less worried, but you need to hide the information from everyone, maybe even from yourself, so as not to change the future by accident, this would also somewhat explain Ozpin's decisions since Volume 1.
@@cerberu01 I'm not sure about that. In the context of RWBY, time travel seems to work in a set in stone paradoxless style where someone sent back in time was *ALWAYS* there, even 'before' they had went back. Take Jaune and the Rusted Knight, no matter how Jaune tried despite (Kinda) knowing the outcome he was unable to change the future, everything he did already happened before he went back in time to do it (Think of Fry being his own Grandpa in Futurama, it works because Fry always did and always will go back in time concieve himself, there was never a timeline where he didn't because otherwise he wouldn't have been born). Of course that's all just what it seems from the little we know about how time travel works in RWBY (and is all from my memory), so take this whole thing with a box of salt ready in case CRWBY confirms otherwise or more context is given in the show/books/other canon media. So, if this all is true, Oz wouldn't be able to do anything about what he knows of the future in an attempt to change it, really the only thing that the knowledge could do for him is comfort him in knowing that atleast the world doesn't end until after Jaune got to the Ever After. Although, to be fair, Oz plays very defensively, which can be tied to him asking Jinn how to destroy Salem but also could be indicitive of him knowing that any attempt at ending the conflict would be entirely futile until a specific time in the future has passed. I think the darkest potential of Lewis being an Oz would be the potential for Jaune to have told him about Pyrrha, and if I'm right about how time travel works, Oz would have know exaclty what would happen to her... And he wouldn't be able to do anything to stop it and would just have to watch himself knowingly lead her to her death (Which would give his "I'm so sorry" during the Transfer a whole new context). All that said to get to the main point I'm trying to make. I don't think Oz is being a baddie for not telling anyone where RWBYJ is if he knows due to having been Lewis, because from what it seems he might not even be physically capable of doing so. I think of it kinda like the Universes failsafe to prevent itself from being Paradoxed into Non-Existance or something haha Sorry for the mini Ted Talk, had more to say on the subject than I thought lol
YAY, my "battleship Amity" theory is right. :D (saw a snippet of the script and it references how amity was retrofitted) When the vol9 ending clip showed amity arena with what looked like a battleship infront of it, i published the theory that after the arena's crash back to remnant, they retrofitted it into a battleship, and the presence of all the war ships indicates there's been a bit of a time skip and the god's line about "not where, but WHEN you are needed most" was also a huge clue
Ollo, just started my training at a salon and every time Hunter is there, you guys make my day and I cannot wait to see you and that Neopolitan hair color looks fantastic on you and this is the best one and as a hairstylist in training, this look is a fave ☺️☺️☺️☺️
I can relate to Hunter at about the 10 minute mark, lol. The animatic made me cry. Raven's semblance would only work on Remnant. It can't cross into a different realm. Dust doesn't work in orbit, so why would a semblance function across universes or dimensions or whatever. I like that Qrow didn't fall back into drinking. I'm wondering if Lewis was later merged with Oz after his adventure in the Ever After. Ozpin then remembers it from Lewis' memories. That could explain why he let Jaune into Beacon (I suspect Ozpin knew his transcripts were fake) and he would know they hadn't really died, so he's less surprised to see them return. If I happen to guess anything correctly, don't change it on my account, RT. A good story is a good story regardless.
I cant wait to see the fan arts. I also need either a whole group hug or a team only thing with JNR especially with Jaune being away for an intermediate amount of years
Now, I don’t actually remember how tall Whitley was compared to Willow in Vol 8, but I though he was much shorter then, so I making a guess that 5-7 years have passed on Remnant because he doesn’t look old enough for 10 years
It could be that the merge happened, or it was Ozpin in control or Oscar is just more Oz like now. Or maybe he believed RWBYJ were coming back and that’s a more like “oh your’e back. About time” kinda face.
I think your read on the people of Vacuo all being Schnee haters is not quite right. I think the war would have been during Nicholas Schnee's time at the latest, and if we believe the World of Remnant (which granted we might not), Nicholas was no Jacques.

Yeah I agree! I thought the same thing!

YAAAAAANG!"

Literally the perfect ending for episode 1 of next volume honnestly
If the theory that Alyx brother(Lewis) was one of Ozpin's lives is correct, he knows where Jaune was, and that Jaune was waiting for Team Rwby.
Yeah…it would be shitty though if he didn’t tell anyone where they were at this point.

They ACTUALLY DID MY IDEA of Qrow being accountability buddies with Willow! I’ve shipped them because of this since like V7. Lol

The way Calxiyn moving makes Neo move too!. 💖💖
Hopefully volume 10 focuses on finding the summer maiden and securing the relic
I want to see what happens when all 4 maidens are near each other

Their dress looks too warm for Vacuo, but deserts are pretty cold at night, hmm
on the dont come back part, someone else wrote that cuz of it having weiss' name on it and peeps hate the schnees still
Now, I don’t actually remember how tall Whitley was compared to Willow in Vol 8, but I though he was much shorter then, so I making a guess that 5-7 years have passed on Remnant because he doesn’t look old enough for 10 years
I don’t think is been that long either maybe it’s been like a year or so at most. Nobody but Whitney and maybe Oscar look any different
@@NovelVanguard I hope that if that amount of time had passed, Ren would be able to grow out a beard kind of like his father's.
It was revealed by Eddy/Kerry that it was approximately 6ish months since Team RWBY were missing and presumed dead.

If Whitly and Oscar look taller maybe it has been a couple of years on Remnant.
#GREENLIGHTVOLUME10
Only thing I can't agree with is Roman being an Incel. That man is either piping or getting piped.
Ooh!
Would you rather have more raven tea or neo?
