  • The Sign of the Cross is an expression of our faith, at once simple and profound. It physically expresses what we believe about the power of the Cross of Christ and our belief in the one God Who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Fr. Corapi gives some of the history and theology of the Sign of the Cross, and why we as Catholic Christians, profess the Faith in sense perceptible ways such as this.
Thank You for showing your support for one of the best preachers of our time Fr.John Corapi

I know Fr. Corapi is remaining silent but I hope he knows how much he's loved and appreciated. I was looking for guidance and God led me to this site, exactly what I was looking for and even better. Thank you Fr. Corapi for giving us the tools we need to know our Faith and to defend it. You are in my daily prayers.

I am a not Catholic but loved listening to Mother Angelica long before her death. She helped me understand what it means to honor the Saints and the sign of the Cross. Fr. Corapi does the same. A real man of God!!

God bless whoever put these videos on U Tube. I love Father Corapi because he is one of the Holiest men I have ever heard. I was so sorry about the trouble he got in and don't know whether he was innocent or guilty but even if he was guilty he was treated unfairly and not only the Catholic Church has lost a great and holy voice but all of Christendom. Thank you again to whoever put these on U Tube.

This is a very powerful message and plain simple to understand. Take note all Catholics whose faith is weak - your weapon and protection is the Sign of the Cross. If you understand that, succumbing to evil temptation will be difficult.
Despite the allegations made, Father Corapi will always be a priest. His messages are as relevant today as they were a few years ago. His approach to teaching and some examples he uses is based on what the great Venerable Bishop Sheen taught, but Father John Corapi's language is even simpler. Both are great visionaries and both are destined for Sainthood believing that I do that Father John is innocent.

Fr. Corapi is a priest of tremendous faith and conviction.
for this very reason the enemy will hate him.
He is chosen by the Lord.
The enemy has been defeated on the cross 2000 years plus. father knows the secret.
Father Corapi thank for enriching our Faith. The Faithful are with you.
We believe you. You dont have to proove anything outside. All it cam do is roar like, mean like a lion.

I'm not Catholic, but I have a heart after God and love Him so much... This is the first time I've ever understood why the use of the cross, crucifixes and such, are used in the Church. Thank you very much. As previously seen, in my search for understanding the Catholic Church, I came across your trial. GET BACK TO YOUR CALLING UNTO GOD... PRIEST!!!!
The recent picture of you on linked IN can easily be seen as you have left the faith, but the faith has never left you. I have sit here all day, listening to your teaching, and trust me... you are a called man of God, and He's not done with you. I've noticed that, in your absence, people are still coming to the knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know you feel it in your heart... that tugging... that empty spot in your life.... That can only be filled through Christ and by Christ. He's not done with you John! You may think He is, and you may think you are, but you were wrong when you left, and you are also wrong in how you think. We don't go by feelings John... You taught us this as well... So stop your feelings... put them in their place... and come on back...
There are many praying for you, and new people every day, that stumble across your messages, that begin prayer for you. I am one of those, and thank you so very much for you teachings. They have helped me tremendously just in this one day I've sit and watched 50 or so of them. May God Bless you, may He keep you, and may He shine His countenance upon you and give you peace. AMEN!
Maybe there is some truth in the rumors? I don't know, but I do know that we all have weaknesses, and we have all given into those weaknesses before. Repent and move on. Our feelings should not dictate what is ultimately truth. That God loves you STILL, and has ordained you as a Priest forever. These two things will never fail. You may feel u're unworthy of speaking God's Word anymore... Don't do feelings man, do what you know to be true. Man will always fall short. That is why we need God, and why we need Priests and men of God that will stand up to tell us the truth; the good, the bad, and the ugly. You are one of them. Feelings will always fail us, but God will always keep us. Stay true to what you know is true, and bind those things that you know are binding you from that truth. Come back to your flock!
Remember what was asked of John? 3 Times? Come back to feed your sheep. Do you love God? Feed the sheep.
I saw, just about 4 months ago... A testimony of a guy and his family that you have touched by your messages. And u're not even around. That is powerful John! You have the Word of God in you that needs to be let out, so others may come to the knowledge and share the Word to others. How will they lead without a Shepherd? Your flock has not left you. You will see this when you return.
You may think you cannot come back because you are not in the Catholic Church? Has that, or does that effect your knowledge? And doesn't your knowledge help to lead others to knowledge? All the knowledge in the world is useless, unless one acts upon it. We need your knowledge so that we can act upon this truth and share it with others. This world needs that truth. It needs hope in this day and age, and you have the words of truth and hope dwelling within you. Come back John! Your flock needs you.

That Linkedin account is fake and has been set up by an imposter, we have reported it and awaiting for action to be taken, perhaps you could also complain to Linkedin, thank you.
Father John prays the Rosary and celebrates Mass daily for all his faithful supporters. He remains silent out of love for the Church and even though he is suffering in the aftermath of this false accusation, he will not go against the Church in any way. Until he is exonerated he will not be giving any talks or communicating publicly. Father John is offering this up for all, and in God's time He will exonerate him.
Father Corapi was, and still is hated by the Evil One, as well as by many liberal individuals both outside and inside the Church. Some in the hierarchy were trying to silence him long before the false accusation was made against him in 2011, just as certain liberal Bishops tried to get rid of Mother Angelica when she was establishing EWTN so obstacles are never far away. Some have even gone out of their way by misinforming the brethren that Father Corapi left the Church. Father loves the Church and never left the Church, he resigned from public ministry because he had no choice. He is, and always will be a Priest. He has denied the allegations made by a former employee, who upon her necessary termination callously put her plan of vicious retribution into action as a means to destroy Fr. Corapi and extort money from him. She broke back into the offices of Santa Cruz Media, physically attacked the office manager and swore revenge - but the kangaroo court which was hurriedly set up only took 3 weeks to side with her, silencing a courageous gifted apostolic preacher who was threatening the comfort of certain liberal bishops - not a single member of Fr. Corapi's staff were interviwed.
We are confident that in the end Christ will win the victory for his chosen apostle, Father John Corapi. Our Blessed Mother in Heaven will surely intercede for her beloved Priest who, by using his gift of Apostolic Preaching, has brought thousands of souls into, or back into the Catholic Church, by passing on the Faith without subverting or diluting it, unlike many Bishops, Priests and so called 'Theologians' are doing today.
Please tell your friends and family to pray and do penance for more than one thousand falsely accused Priests worldwide, and to continue watching Father's videos on our TH-cam Channel where they are all freely accessible.
God bless you and keep you safe.

Sign of the Cross is a Christian Identity or Christian Symbol it is the power of God, sign of Salvation. It is a expression of Christian faith which Christian should have and not be ashamed of it. When we sign of the Cross we marked our forehead with the name (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and power of God. With the sign of the Cross we are guided and protected in everything that we do and everywhere we go.

Early Church fathers quotes on the sign of the cross: Tertullian The Chaplet ch 3 (160-240 ad)
At every forward step and movement, at every going in and out, when we put on our our clothes and shoes, when we bathe, when we sit at table, when we light the lamps, on couch, on seat, in all the ordinary actions of daily life, we trace upon the forehead the sign.
Acts of Xanthippe and Polyxena par 14 (270 ad)
And Paul perceived her prayer, and made the sign of the cross, and for several days the people entered unhindered, and as many as had sick and vexed by unclean spirits brought them, and all were healed.
Athanasius Life of St Anthony par 13 (296-373 ad)
Them he quickly heard, though he had not given a thought to the demons, and coming to the door he besought them to depart and not to be afraid, 'for thus,' said he, 'the demons make their seeming onslaughts against those who are cowardly. Sign yourselves therefore with the cross, and depart boldly, and let these make sport for themselves.' So they departed fortified with the sign of the Cross.
Cyril of Jerusalem Catechetical Lecture 13 par 36 (315-186 ad)
Let us not then be ashamed to confess the Crucified. Be the Cross our seal made with boldness by our fingers on our brow, and on everything; over the bread we eat, and the cups we drink; in our comings in, and goings out; before our sleep, when we lie down and when we rise up; when we are in the way, and when we are still. Great is that preservative; it is without price, for the sake of the poor; without toil, for the sick; since also its grace is from God. It is the Sign of the faithful, and the dread of devils: for He triumphed over them in it, having made a shew of them openly; for when they see the Cross they are reminded of the Crucified; they are afraid of Him, who bruised the heads of the dragon. Despise not the Seal, because of the freeness of the gift; out for this the rather honour thy Benefactor

Anglicans, Lutherans, Many Presbyterians, Methodists, and other Protestants, respect and preserve the Sign of the Cross of Christ in their worship, and daily prayers. So please do not think that all protestants are opposed to the Sign of the Cross.
Though I do wish people would stop making the sign out of habit, or in a lazy manner, but that they would do it with intention, focusing on the Trinity, the Incarnation, and the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. And extend the Sign fully from the forehead down to the bottom of the Solar Plexus, and then cross the Shoulders around the collarbone, extending from one side to the other. And not these lazy half crosses, where almost the entire bottom half is missing, and they look more like inverted crucifixes.
