    For question 2, PT is more affected than PTT because FVII has the shortest half-life, therefore turnover higher and needs to be made constitutively. The production cannot keep up in liver failure, therefore PT prolongs more.

    Thank you so much Dr. Bolin for your hard work and dedication to educate and making a difference. In the smoking cessation portion, stressing about advising the risk involve actually helps with enhancing their willingness to stop or to seek help. Also Begin nonjudgmental dealing clients who are addicted to substances really helps with having good rapport and adherence. Again, thank you!

    Hiii! Thank u for the great help! Just wanted to make a quick correction: in budd Chiari, it’s actually the HEPATIC vein that’s occluded, not the portal vein.

    Librium is discouraged if he has liver problem. Lorazepam is preferred in a pt with a known impaired liver function.
