As a german speaker I can confirm that, yes, you do “Verhütungsmittel“ the „Schwangerschaft“
(Literally: „Schwangerschaft“=pregnancy, „Verhütung“=protection, „Mittel“=medium => pregnancy protection medium aka. contraceptive)
For future reference "rhotic" is a linguistic word that has to do with pronunciation of the "R" sound. For instance, British English is considered "non-rhotic" because Brits tend to drop Rs while speakers with _rhotic_ accents like Scots and Americans always keep them. Once you know that, the Final Fibbage becomes almost too easy. At that point, it's clear that Scooby-Doo suffers from "rhotic replacement" because he's always speaking Rs where there are none in writing. "Uh-oh, Shaggy!" becomes "Ruh-roh, Raggy!" and "Scooby-Dooby-Doo!" can become (depending on the era) "Rooby-Rooby-Roo!"
I was just wondering how no one managed to put two and two together on that one.
Well, "rhotic" _is_ kind of a niche word. If you don't have much interest in the technical side of linguistics or maybe speech pathology or something, or have one of those friends who's a walking encyclopedia of facts and trivia on pretty much everything, you could be excused for going a very very long time without learning it.
Might just be me. But I didn't even know the term for that, and the Scooby Doo answer pun seemed too well thought-out for a write-in.

Scooby doo wasn't the most absurd one, it was the most logical one let's be fair - Rhotic replacement. Rh-uh Rh-oh. Rh from rhotic. I thought it was that one and that was my logic! :)

I knew it was scooby doo because I studied linguistics haha Rhotic refers to the kind of R sound we use in American English, so you are replacing other consonant sounds with a rhotic sound.
