    i've rewatched this many times but it seems there is so much room for options and patching/repatching this signal flow, it's very mesmerizing.

    I love how you stay true to your brand name, sophisticated, nerdy machines to make noise, no attempts to be "musical", i don't think i have seen a keyboard in any of your videos, the only somewhat quantized thing is the SQ 1 in some videos (before there was the 0 ctrl).

    What an amazing and inspiring peace of gear/instrument is the shared system. Thank you.

    Wow! Super informative. You and Cinematic Laboratory are keeping me really busy trying out stuff inspired by the extraordinary quality of your modular explorations. What is really interesting is the way I can hear the Wogglebug signature sound even though I am using different VCO's for the most part primarily from Noise Engineering. The Woggle DNA still manages to be prevalent in a distinctive way that I find really pleasing. It's hard to imagine that this is merely due to voltage fluctuations and not some intrinsic mysterious mojo.

      Yeah, the Wogglebug does seem to be "alive" and have its own will in a certain uncanny way. :)

    Thanks for this tutorial! This ia an aspect of my wogglebug I've wanted to understand better, and this certainly helps! It's a module I go to so often, and one I so rarely use to its full potential.

    I did a so called 'tutorial' about the WoggleBug but I completely missed influence. Amazing! Thanks for sharing! Also it's fun to see your gnarly mimic when the sound becomes gnarly. I think I have to do an 'advanced' chapter :).

    what happened between 5:40 and 5:41 -- there seems to be some gating coming from the original voice - where did that come from?

    does anyone else feel like a eurorack alarm clock module would work really well? idk why but I can imagine setting up the craziest patch possible before going to bed and having it all be set up to go off at 7am on the dot, blaring out of my guitar amp and waking me the fuck up each morning. ig it wouldnt even have to be a module, but like, an alarm clock with a bunch of gate outputs instead of a bell.
    I had this idea because I heard the sound that the wogglebug made when you first patched it into the DPO and immediately thought "man, that would wake me up in an instant"

    I have been wondering what the module's "Influence" input does? Have I come to the right place?

    Kinda out of left field question but how was your morphagene green when the Caruso red knob was pointed at 1oclock? Thanks!!

    • @MAKEN0ISEMUSIC
      @MAKEN0ISEMUSIC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      most likely resulting from setting "vsop 2" in the options on the SD card, this makes the control unipolar (so it stops at full CCW and does not play backwards at any setting)

    What you did to that Dobro recording reminds me of what Brian Eno did to Tony Banks piano into to The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. Banks wasn't too happy with the result but allowed it to be added to the mix _behind_ his own piece which if you listen carefully you'll hear about 17 seconds in: th-cam.com/video/5pteh5hdZlg/w-d-xo.html
