Do you guys ignore the random boulders/piles of rocks in that area in 10-14 feet, or are you casting around them?

Hey guys I had a quick question, Im on a lake located near crosslake mn and have never seen or caught a walleye in it but the dnr claims that they net over 30 a year, it’s a really sandy lake no rocks or gravel just really weedy. I’ve pulled Lindy rigs with shiners, spinners with nightcrawlers and leeches and shiners and trolled raps as well, the deepest parts are around 30 to 25 ft with the occasional holes getting down to 50. If you have any advice or ideas it would be much appreciated.

I fish a lake in Ottertail County with a similar description but it has very little structure. The water is very clear and you can pretty much only get the walleyes at night, however some can be caught during the day (but I've been skunked many a times during the day). What I recommend trying it troll crankbaits at sunset until it's completely dark and zigzag a shoreline break between 8-22 ft. just in and out until fish hit. You will need to weed through bass and northern doing this .

Pitch the shallow weed edges with plastics, cranks, or ajig and minnow. My go to would be plastic paddle tails.

I don't get it. A fishing show that ends its season at the start of open water fishing season in its home state. Makes absolutely zero sense to me. So I'm watching this episode and then I'm unsubscribing. Ice fishing is fine but don't ignore the open water season at its expense. I don't ice fish, I don't want to watch ice fishing. I'd rather watch you guys fish muskie, walleye, pike, smallmouth bass, from a boat. To each their own, I guess.

MsPrincesspaulina we will stop airing our TV show as it shuts down to the Open Water season. There will be many more open water videos.

      Sorry, my mistake and apologies.
I really do like your open water shows. I've learned from you guys. But I don't ice fish. Staring down a hole and freezing my butt off isn't fishing fun for me so I don't watch ice fishing and it seems that most episodes are ice fishing. But if you continue to put out open water videos I'll keep watching.
