      It's cool if it is her skull. If not idk good question. But from many paintings this does look pretty close and her knowing latin and Greek, she might had those in her genes. So a pronounced nose and almond full eyes may be possible.

    This is her skull because she was revered as the bringer of Christianity to France. She along with her daughter and son fled Alexandra, Egypt with the Shroud of Turin. She taught Jesus' teachings about Heaven on earth, which is experiencing God's love or Holy Spirit through intuition. For Jesus is in all People to love and guide them. Blessed is France who loved Magdalene for having taught Jesus true teachings of Love

    A simple analysis of the skull (and hair) involving carbon dating, etc. should suffice in assigning this person to their rightful time and place in history. Less than 2000 years old?… Not Middle Easten? …Doesn't come from the Levant (modern day Israel/Palestine, Jordan, Syria)? Then it's NOT Mary Magdalene.

    The Dominican friars guard the body of St. Mary Magdalene. It is in a cave in the cliffs on the coast of France, where she lived and died after leaving Israel at the time of the Jewish rebellion and war with Rome. There is still a piece of flesh attached to her skull, where the resurrected Christ touched her to push her away on the first Easter morning, when she tried to touch Him. But even with a skull, it is impossible to say how the folds of skin would lay around the eyes or how long a nose is, etc.

    There are various Catholic visionaries to whom Christ has shown detailed scenes of his life, which included Mary Magdalene. She is always described as very beautiful, with a small rather delicate build & with fair colouring. I don't think this reconstructed skull is her since it differs in too many ways from multiple descriptions of her.

And in human forensic facial reconstruction you measure where the nostrils end by making a diagonal line starting from the corners of the mouth. You can determine the width of the mouth by the position of your incisor teeth. They are the pointy teeth we have that aren't molars.hope this helps!

    Completely BOGUS. If those are not her bones then it cannot be the"face of Mary Magdalene". It is a facial reconstruction of some relics of bones and some hair of some generic ancient female "said' to be the bones of "Saint Whoever". Video should have been entitled:" French scientists reconstruct the face of an anonymous ancient woman who may (or may not) have somewhat resembled a Biblical character called "Mary Magdalene", but we cannot ever be sure. But we all got a university/ government/foundation grant for xxx xEuros and so we decided to do it, anyway-Who would know the difference?" As far as her being an important figure in "Judeo-Christian culture", apart from her probably being Jewish or of Jewish descent, Mary Magadalene has absolutely NO significance or importance in "Judeo"(Jewish) culture. Your'e welcome...

      "As far as her being an important figure in Judeo-Christian culture, apart from her probably being Jewish or of Jewish descent, Mary Magadalene has absolutely NO significance or importance in Judeo (Jewish) culture". You know, the expression Judeo-Christian culture also contains the word Christian on it, and that includes the Christian religion and culture, regardless that most aspects of it have no significance in the Jewish culture itself.

    What about mother mary of Jesus

  • @carl9148
    @carl9148 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    In the end it may not be then Mary Magdalene herself, or if it is, then we may have the best chance to say the skull in the reconstruction could at least be the face of the woman who knew Jesus himself and was there on his Crucifixion and yet, if it's not, then, she could be a woman from her time that knew her still, but, either way, you never know, still, with that profile, she obviously was quite a good looking woman in life though wasn't she?

      Correction:The painting in Mexico City is that of" Our lady of Gulalupe",in other words,the Blessed Virgin Mary,the mother of Jesus,not Mary Magdalene.

    This is conjecture. There is no way to be sure that skull is hers, even if she lived as a historical character. No one knows if Jesus was a living person or not. Videos like this trade on human credulity.
