This is just a short improvisation with the Visual Wand beta from Pyroterra Lighttoys. I made some of the patterns myself, and I had some fun with some new editing tricks. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Ooo what video effect is this?
How did you achieve this long lasting image effect? Is this video edited or did you shoot it with a specific camera?
A little bit of both. You have to setup the camera so the shutter speed matches the frame rate-
1/30 ss for 30 fps
Or
1/60 ss for 60 fps
Then use the echo effect in premiere on the "max" setting to extend the high brightness parts of the scene

When you say you made some of the visuals yourself does that mena this wand is programmable? Also how do you get it to leave the "trail" of effects behind the wand or does it do that naturally?
Yes it's programmable! You can both create patterns/images as well as create timed sequences for those patterns and images to play. In person, the trails happen naturally because of an effect called "persistence of vision" that happens in the human eye. Unfortunately, cameras don't mimic this effect very well, so the trails are added with an effect on video

I have a levitation wand from glofx. What weight and string setup do you use to keep it vertical
It should stay vertical out of the box. If not, yours is defective
Not perfectly vertical though, more like 15°-20° tilted

@@tarasbudar7546 They're very strong! Obviously it's good to be careful with it, but mine have taken some pretty nasty crashes without any issues other than some minor scratches and a few very small stress cracks around the string hole
