You need one of those huge tweezers to get your paper away from the guillotine machine! It'll look so cool AND it will be safe haha. I love the new monthly planner, it's so pretty!

Hi Meg, glad you had a good rest 😊 I can so relate to feeling guilty when you take time off. Sometimes we end up feeling guilty when we're working and then guilty when we're relaxing 😂 I took a bit of time off last week too, and did a bit of baking which was lovely. Your cards came out so nice, its amazing what a difference printer settings does. Also I love those flower earrings your were wearing 🌻
Thank you for the lovely comment Emma! You're so right because I feel guilty if I'm not working, and guilty when I'm working incase I'm not working hard enough! We do a good job of being hard on ourselves! I can't wait to get our kitchen fitted so that I can bake too - that sounds lush! So glad you like the cards - snowdrops are my favourite!

Can totally relate to the feeling when you go shopping and you just magically appear at the stationery corner or aisle🤣Finally, the embroidery piece and the jewelry pieces!! So pretty! Mine is the same! And someone else I spoke to also said the same - it’s not straight at all. I just have to use my eye to cut and try and line it up with the cut line on the red bit. Very annoying as it’s quite time consuming/easy to make a mistake!
Getting many orders is at the same time amazing and overwhelming, I can only imagine. Outsourcing doesn’t make your products less Ink of it as a great way to get more time to design new lovely items 😉 Also, glad to see you back after a slight burnout, do take care 💛
Yeah it’s a total toss us between wanting the speediness of being able to just design someone and having it as a product on the same day, and time lost in the mass production process! I’m sure I’ll figure out a balance one day 😂
Still watching, but, may be give 2 or 3 days in your week for product production & other days for other works🤔. Hope that might give you some inspiration.
Yeaaah I totally want to set time aside just for production and now that I’ve got a speedier printer I think I can do this! With the slower printer I was trying to do other things whilst I waited then have to stop those tasks to make products - was a bit all over the place

hahaha if there was any injury on the guillotine, I definitely wont be filming it so rest assured if it makes it into the vlog, its safe to watch! I know what you mean though, its just satisfying to film! I definietly needed some time off, although a lot of that was spent on the flat. Sloooowly getting there and should move in officially this week (although we've said that for the past two weeks then something happens! Boiler is fixed though so maybe this week is the week!) hi, I have the exact same paper guillotine, heavy duty. but mine is not cutting square when i put the paper against the top edge. Any tips?
Mine is the same! And someone else I spoke to also said the same - it’s not straight at all. I just have to use my eye to cut and try and line it up with the cut line on the red bit. Very annoying as it’s quite time consuming/easy to make a mistake!
