    Fantastic video, Drs Ibreez and Ibrahim! Your journey through the UK home-buying process is not only inspiring but also packed with practical wisdom, especially for those on a Tier 2 visa. I also bought my first house on Tier 2 within my 1st year in the NHS. This was a few years ago. I wish I had come across videos like this back then as it felt quite daunting. Your insights on location, mortgages, and credit management are spot-on. Now, in 2023, I think the strategic use of financial tools like LISA (Lifetime ISA) for boosting deposits is a crucial tool for IMG Doctors in the current economic landscape of high-interest rates and living costs. Every bit of savings truly counts! Your ability to demystify complex topics is commendable. Great work and I'm eagerly looking forward to your next video!

    Really useful vlog👍🏻 thanks for all your efforts.. Well i wanna know two things
    1)like when I'll enter into an IMT 1st yr is it possible to continue my training in that area from IMT1 to ST7 and then probably join as a consultant in nearby hospitals like around 40miles of radius or so? I know its difficult to suggest as its variable but still wanna know some places or deanery where i dont have to move frequently....
    2)What is more suitable for schooling of kids? Like govt sponsored schools or private schools in UK?
    So please suggest me some areas in UK where I'll find good govt schools, college,not a very costly busy city but definitely a beautiful landscape with a good neighborhood for an Indian doctor (I'm flexible with any kind of people)
    Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      1) You'll know when you apply for IMT what areas you'll be in. When you later apply for specialty training (ST), you can choose to apply only within the area you want to stay. For a consultancy post, when you reach the end of your ST, you can keep an eye out for available posts or even speak to HR so that they can inform you if anything becomes available.
      2) It's dependent on the area you are living in and your personal preference. Check the Ofsted website for more information and advice.

    Hello, very informative video actually, my wife is an IMG working here, and I am an academic, we are planning to get a place soon. My question may sound silly but still needed to be asked. When getting a loan from the bank to buy a house or even gauging the credit score, do they consider only one person's income and credit score or those of both husband and wife? Is the loan offered to only one person or to both spouses (based on annual income and credit scores of both) when buying a house? Thanks in advance.

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The loan is offered to and the credit check is done on whoever applies for it. If only your wife applies, they will look into her finances. They may ask in the application process if there is another individual who contributes to finances, where you can mention any contribution you may have as well.

      @@RoadToUK Thanks ! For the same price : Is it cheaper to live in a home or a flat?. Because Ive grown to understand that big lawns mean more maintainece. And often in UK flats are more expensive to live in than homes !

    • @RoadToUK
      @RoadToUK  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really depends on your specifications. Some flats like you've said can cost more than larger houses. It's down to location and layout. Also, some flats have a garden space as well (not as large as houses but still).

    The channel has grown tremendously. if possible and your budget allows, invest in a better camcorder and mic system preferably with a much higher frame rate and also try to make the lighting a bit more softer while filming.

      The process is exactly the same. They may change terms like 'interest' to 'rental rate' but the steps don't change.

    Mortgage is haram and a major sin in Islam sister. I havent seen the whole video but if your promoting others to do it then your going to have issues in the Akhirah. I remind you as well as myself to Fear Allah. Taking interest is a one way ticket to hell and severe punishment in the afterlife.
