Hi Edoardo, My name is Toni and I live in Poland. I am 12 years old and I am fascinated by your rc sailing boat. I watched your series about sailing boat building many times. I liked it so much that I decided to build one similar to yours. I don't have much experience in CAD design, so I was wondering if you could share the plans of your latest yacht with me somehow. I would make some changes to simplify it to my abilities. Of course I 'll fornhelp from my dad and granddad. Let me know your thoughts. I hope to hear from you soon. Toni
@@EdoardoChisale Wow I was impressed by his efforts!! I have been sailing since I was 5yrs old in the North East USA and have raced larger boats all over the world!! Now that I am disabled RC Boats have become a passion of mine and allows me to use my past experiences to make them perform at their best! It is so much fun!! Beautiful boat!!
Quite a great model. And ... quite a good workshop. The boat seems to work better the closer to the wind but not so well for following. A few questions .. The boom looks not to be able for opening enough. A design specification ? Or something to be adjusted ? May we know how the Gennaker furling device works? Anyway ... impressive work. Congratulations.👍👍👍
Hi, thanks you very much! The boom actually opens untill the back stays, quite enough for downwind sailing. You can see from the 3D model how the gennaker system works, it is all hidden inside the hull and there are two servo motors: one for the furler and one for the sheet. you can find the video here: th-cam.com/video/9V-XUUQgVXg/w-d-xo.html thanks again
@@EdoardoChisale you've done a great job with that boat. I used to build radio controlled yachts about 20 years ago, mostly out of fibreglass/carbon. It's a difficult art to get right, your workmanship is top notch.
Beautiful project and great footages
