Palpatine wants to use Ben to make him stronger, a perfect vessel. Snoke helped him get there and now he's using the confliction in Ben to really help him. But the Starforge and using the darkside of the force or whatever to reach out to bring people back with it is genius. You could bring back Darth Plagueis or whatever. This guy legit brought more character and meaning to Snoke. Developed the characters relationship and motives very well in the span of two episodes of a movie. We see how Ben became Kylo Ren, we know everyone's motives, and so forth. It's just perfect story telling and a talent this Prism guy has, tbh. It was weird when we just randomly saw Palpatine and didn't see how that came to be either.

At the end of the day though, Lucas most likely hated her for personal reasons. Simply put Lucas named Luke S after himself, so Luke S hooking up with Mara was just way too close to his real life ex-wife Marcia. The fans shouldn't be robbed of one of the best characters the franchise ever had and the perfect foil to Luke, just because he was reminded of his ex-wife. Lucas needs to lot go and just accept that Luke being like his father and finding love is the natural progression of his character arc, and let's Luke face the same dilemma as his father but unlike Anakin chosing a better path when faced with the same fear.
At 17:00 I wish Kylos lightsaber gave sparks of red, giving his lightsaber a purple colour, showing he takes power from both the light and dark side of the force
The great thing about this story is he uses the plot points and characters the sequels use but does it better… he doesn’t just make his own story. Incredible really.

What he did here is just copying the sequels and improving them based on existing criticism. “It made no sense how Palpatine came back” > Explicitly shows how Palpatine came back “Finn should’ve been a Jedi” > Includes Finn as a Jedi “Rey is a Mary Sue she never trained and is so OP” > Makes Rey a trained Sith and explicitly shows her train as a Jedi “We know nothing about Snoke” > Explicitly states his backstory

Gawt damn I absolutely LOVE what PRISM did with Palatine's new rise. It stays so true to the type of Sith he is. The new films just used him as just wanting to build a big army and go to war but that has never been the way of Sidius directly. He persuades and manipulates to fulfill the ultimate goal. He's essentially the opposite of Obi-Wan. This series makes me both happy and disappointed.

I just pictured the last Jedi would be a really creative and fun adventure with Leia being very proactive using the new republic forces and her powers to destroy snoke and confront Ben while Luke and Rey are basically on that adventure being important, deep, world building and lore building. Rian just made a very generic movie that doesn't connect with the rest and not only has no world building but breaks the lore of what came before without explanation or very lazily explained. It really just doesn't fit in at all unless you view it as a very high budget parody or fan fiction
This kind of storytelling has not been seen in any of the Star Wars films and it is incredible. I am looking forward to seeing "What if Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" when it is released. I do not know how Disney could get this, so wrong. This is the story that would captivate an audience for three hours per movie. It’s grounded, gritty, inquisitive, and also makes the audience think a bit.

For those who don't know, this blends the Knights of the Old Republic storyline with the Prequels and the OG movies together for one giant pay off. The StarForge is part of that storyline from KOTOR.
There is a guy that did this exact same thing but with the prequels and I cannot find it anymore. It was so well thought of. I know the prequels are good and loved but trust me this guy made it way better. I just cant find it at all anymore.

The way ben’s story mirrors anakins is fantastic. I also love the concept of Kylo Ren being a title and the knights of ren being almost like a Darth Vader cult is so fascinating. Just makes me more disappointed what we could’ve had in the sequel trilogy.
This is truly excellent. He needs someone to help add some lightheartedness and old-fashioned Lucas levity into the mix, but otherwise a stupendous work. It is so far better than what Disney concocted it boggles the mind.
Not gonna knock the story, i think it's excellent, it just felt like it was a 5 hr epic. I thought the episode was done after Ben's turn and took over as Kylo. A lot of stuff happened. We have to take into account for prolonged action scenes. The narration moves the pace quicker, but on film it would not be as fast paced.

Disney should learn from Taylor Sheridan writing incredibly strong female characters in “Lioness” on Paramount, Strong women without any agenda writing, just great characters and story.
I imagine in a couple of decades you can get AI generated 3D rendered feature length motion pictures. And you can select which actors to deepfake and which director's style you want the AI to use. Then you can just stream whatever you want the episode to be. I hope I live long enough to see that.

If I were to reboot the Star Wars universe under my fists. I could’ve put the original trilogy set as the first chronological setting. That this force thing stays as magical and surrounds life forms in the galaxy. That the old galactic empire had to be formed after the clone wars. In which had clone Jedi warriors and soldiers that rebelled against the imperial faction and this had the citizens hating the Jedi for it. And so allowed the empire to rise. destroyed the That after 3000 or so years later, the force powers are discovered to be midichlorians. And there’s a power level there. Also the new republic. The galactic republic became possible and also the sith empire was made as well. Due to former imperials wanting to secede from the new republic. Then want to lead their new order. Old Palpatine had descendants who would not only have their name reclaim the galaxy back to their hands but also their sith collaborators as well. Their descendant sheev Palpatine would become the chancellor of the galactic republic and then become the dictator of his first order. At least this lore could’ve united the legends and Disney canon fans in some way. But still. I could’ve used post return of the Jedi content to make it a sequel and made the prequels trilogy into a sequel trilogy where the galactic republic prospered for thousands of years. Then there’s the sith imperial wars and such that they eliminated the sith out of the galaxy. But darth bane himself. and then the republic prospered the second time but it’s prosperity played it’s downfall and it leds to the events of the phantom menace. Technology there was very advanced and ahead. Then the galactic separatist war begun. The 7 years lasting civil war. It ended up with sheev Palpatine winning and order 66 destroys not only the Jedi order but also super being supporters who supported the Jedi order. The spiritual monk successor to the justice league. No more supers in his new order. The first order. The first order rules the galaxy for centuries and then the resistance rises.
This guy's story has raised goosebumps several times. This is canon to me now.

Not gonna knock the story, i think it's excellent, it just felt like it was a 5 hr epic. I thought the episode was done after Ben's turn and took over as Kylo. A lot of stuff happened. We have to take into account for prolonged action scenes. The narration moves the pace quicker, but on film it would not be as fast paced.
Well a GOOD story draws you in and time just flys by.

I imagine in a couple of decades you can get AI generated 3D rendered feature length motion pictures. And you can select which actors to deepfake and which director's style you want the AI to use. Then you can just stream whatever you want the episode to be. I hope I live long enough to see that.

If I were to reboot the Star Wars universe under my fists. I could’ve put the original trilogy set as the first chronological setting. That this force thing stays as magical and surrounds life forms in the galaxy. That the old galactic empire had to be formed after the clone wars. In which had clone Jedi warriors and soldiers that rebelled against the imperial faction and this had the citizens hating the Jedi for it. And so allowed the empire to rise. destroyed the That after 3000 or so years later, the force powers are discovered to be midichlorians. And there’s a power level there.
Also the new republic. The galactic republic became possible and also the sith empire was made as well. Due to former imperials wanting to secede from the new republic. Then want to lead their new order. Old Palpatine had descendants who would not only have their name reclaim the galaxy back to their hands but also their sith collaborators as well. Their descendant sheev Palpatine would become the chancellor of the galactic republic and then become the dictator of his first order.
At least this lore could’ve united the legends and Disney canon fans in some way.
But still. I could’ve used post return of the Jedi content to make it a sequel and made the prequels trilogy into a sequel trilogy where the galactic republic prospered for thousands of years. Then there’s the sith imperial wars and such that they eliminated the sith out of the galaxy. But darth bane himself. and then the republic prospered the second time but it’s prosperity played it’s downfall and it leds to the events of the phantom menace. Technology there was very advanced and ahead. Then the galactic separatist war begun. The 7 years lasting civil war. It ended up with sheev Palpatine winning and order 66 destroys not only the Jedi order but also super being supporters who supported the Jedi order. The spiritual monk successor to the justice league. No more supers in his new order. The first order.
The first order rules the galaxy for centuries and then the resistance rises.
Loving these but I get depressed when I realize how much garbage we got from disney.
