livonia, riga and gotland are the 3 greatest mission tree in game. small nation with special events tied to missions is the way to go not an overpowered nation from the start that does a mission to get the whole arabian peninsula as a permanent claim
I'va had an intersting campaign idea. You can do a full cav QQ into persia. However you can switch to christianity to change your technology to eastern via become horde government reform + unlocking cossacks. QQ or AQ can unlock 0.5 shock for cav + tribe state and aristocratic + horde idea this way. And after forming persia you can reach 100% cav to inf ratio with one of the missions. I guess you can get more cav ability with cossaks (if you stay orthodox from georgian provicne) + tribe + persian specific states. And you can get horde idea + aristocratic However it might take a while to reach this. And your cav cost is even lower than poland
I did this AQ -> Persia posted on Reddit. Took aristocratic, horde, espionage. Can still take quality for even more CCA. Am currently at 80% but can increase to 85% with extra qilzilbash loyalty. Full qilzilbash death stack 66k with a -1 dice roll can beat 117k ottomans in battle. I highly recommend that run
@@blemental5307 it wasn't my goal initially. I took aristocratic and espionage 1st and 2nd because of mainly role play. Then I reached the last tier reform for tribal federation and saw I can go horde. Casual run no cheesing anything etc.
It never ceases to amaze me how utterly fucked the Baltic counties and provinces look in any of Paradox games. Nor do they ever get the local names right, every single name is like someone just leaned on the keyboard with their elbow and called it a day. I mean sure, they have a huge map to work with. But their main offices are located just across the pond, it's an absolute disgrace. Edit: I mean, look at it. Right in the center, the county of Semigallia. It's called Mitau. Mītava or modern name Jelgava is the largest/capital town of the region, not the name of the county itself. It's basically like calling entire Sweden Stockholm. The borders, naturally, are also totally made up.
Zlewikk, just a suggestion but you could do a Sweden into Scandinavia campaign, I recently played until 1650 and with Absolutism I was able to nab all of the new world colonies from England, Spain and Portugal, I got a PU over France in 1550 after their conquest of Burgundy, it was glorious! I would be really curious to see what you'd do!
But did you see their size? I foulsnt make them a vassal as they still had plenty of provinces left for another 20ish years :p normally I would do as you said :)
