@@jeffgutierrez959 Yes Mo designed this core and when Hammer went under Brunswick umbrella of brands we get the 3D-0ffset 25th anniversary release, so hang on for more great balls coming into production.

Love the instant commentary about each shot. Talking through your thought process about what you would do next. Very informative. I'm strongly considering this ball for my tournament bag.

Great review man! You can also really see the difference in your ball roll with your change in finger pitches you mentioned. Looks awesome!

@@StephRenee812 can't say yet. I'm just getting back into the sport after several years of not playing it. I no longer have any of my former equipment from years ago. I seeked out a good ball by a well-known company to start with as that's an obvious starting point. I've got a bag on the way now and next month I'll be able to afford shoes. At which point I'll actually start bowling again.

Hey JR, glad to hear from you as always. I like this ball’ from what I’ve seen from your video. Being a lefty this ball will fit perfectly in my bag. Standing on 17 for this ball would be a no brainer as a normal roll without having to come go around the ball. Thank you for the great video

  • @ericgordon4738

I've really been enjoying this ball. One of MO's most famous. That's really why I got it, as I usually throw Radical exclusively. It's my first asymmetrical in a while, and I usually throw shiny pearls. I usually like the ez use line of Radical. Most bang for the buck, and underrated IMO. Is this still in your bag? Thanks

If/when you do the comparison on the pin up vs pin down, can you talk about short pin? I saw an older video that compared short pin to urethane, but would be interested to hear how that layout compares to the other options on the same ball. My comfort zone is down and in around 10, and I am having trouble finding a ball that doesn’t jump on the over/under. I’m going to try urethane, but am nervous about changing the shot for everyone else on my team.

Can I come play with an expert at your lanes? The pro drilled my ball such that the pin is higher than the demo ball i requested mine to resemble. Pretty sure he screwed it up intentionally. I need expert advice. Please.

Isn't this a revival of an old core by Hammer? It seems like I remember that core from 90's or early 2000's.

It is a 25th anniversary rerelease. Same core shape with a "modern" coverstock. The original ball 25:years ago was a 2-piece design. This new one is a 3-piece with a carbon fiber infused filler material. So basically a modernized vintage release.

3D Offset core. This was the strongest core Hammer had 25 years ago, then came the gas mask core. I had an original 3D as well as several in the original Black Widow line later. This will fit well with the BW 2.0, BW Ghost, Scorpion, Raw Pearl and Purple Hammer.

Rick Scheaffer. I bought 2 of the 16lb 3D offset when they first came out back in the mid 90s. Bowled several 300s and 800s. Carried a 235 average. I just decided to put them back into action. Having twist lock thumb inserts put in.
I'm going to prove that they are as strong as the newer ones are. They were easy to adjust to the shots that were ran on the lanes.

All bowling balls do not look good on a fresh condition. As soon as you say it’s a beat up condition, I turn the video off if the review isn’t for a light oil ball. Most importantly, I want to see what a ball can do in league, which is always a fresh condition. Maybe a little bit of transition for games 2 and 3 but not much.
