Our goal here is to provide a bridge to literacy using the writing system that works best for our students who are also learning English. Hello, sir. We have met many Rohingya speakers from Arakan who use mũi and many from Arakan who use ãi. More commonly in our experience, people will say ãi. And yes, Chittagonian also uses that, but it is often a common word between the two languages. We hope to do what we can to preserve the beautiful and important Rohingya language but also make sure that we recognize that all languages change over time. Our hope is that our videos can reach and connect with Rohingya speakers everywhere in a way that is accessible to them. We have much to learn from each other and from you, so thank you for sharing!
