That Gar was beautiful!!! Never caught one before but had a baby Gar in a fish tank once lol 😅 I was out fished this weekend by my brother and husband. Total of 7 rainbow trout. I only caught one and it the smallest. 😂
The pressure from the Jug being sealed will keep ot afloat. If you ever have a chance, try to pull a gallon Jug under water when it's cap on. It's easy harder that you realize. Even the smaller half gallon, a fish "may be able to pull it under, but keeping it under is not possible.

No it's good to the outside handle of the jug . Then the line, hook and the light can all fit inside.

And, once I put the line inside the Jug, I just screw the cap back on.
