International Day for the Eradication of Poverty 2024-25 - SEI-STATE ML

Inflicted on society like an epidemic, poverty needs to be treated and eradicated.
The theme of 'International Day for the Eradication of Poverty' this year is 'Ending Social and Institutional Maltreatment: Acting Together for Just, Peaceful, and Inclusive Societies.'
In this light, SEI celebrated the day, highlighting the theme for the current year.
Students presented a speech that notified the audience of the issues of poverty, proposing and promoting the ways to eradicate poverty. UBI (universal basic income) being one of them.
Students also performed a skit that exposed the maltreatment and deprivation faced by the poor and advocated the prospects of the government and the role of society in the eradication of poverty.
