So many great movies from this studio, during this Era and I was lucky enough to see many of them in the theater as I was 13 at the time. Of course, the best of the bunch is Stakeout. I loved it in '87 and have only grown to adore it more as I got older. How many films can you say that about? For pure entertainment value, you'd certainly be hard pressed to find a better film. They simply do not make movies of this quality anymore. To tell you the truth, Hollywood hasn't got the talent. From director John Badham (Saturday Night Fever, Blue Thunder, Wargames) to writer Jim Kouf (National Treasure, The Hidden, Disorganized Crime). Not to mention Richard Dreyfuss whose sheer joy of performance is worth the price of admission. A little Trivia... Originally, Leonard Nimoy was set to direct. Instead, he left the project to direct 3 Men & a Baby. Also, Val Kilmer was going to play the villain role that in the end went to Aidan Quinn. Quinn, by the way, met his future wife on the set. She played a waitress in the bar if you ever saw the film. If you never saw Stakeout, drop whatever it is you're doing and watch it! It is guaranteed entertainment.
Adventures in Babysitting is impressive enough just when you think about how fast Vincent D’Onofrio dropped all the weight he had put on for Full Metal Jacket.
Ernest goes to camp is a childhood favorite of mine the late great Jim Varney what a lovely comedic genius he was a total one of a kind and stakeout although very well known it got lost in the shuffle of the lethal weapon's and 48 hours of the day another great lost Buddy cop movie from the 80s is the amazing 1988 Willem Dafoe and Gregory Hines film off limits if you've never seen check it out it's a lost gem and also have yourself a merry Christmas and be well
Have you ever seen the 1987 movie Big Shots its a Warner Brothers production with the black kid and the white kid it was awesome I only saw it once on TV but I have it on VHS
A lot of classics here, rewatched a few of them fairly recently, what a great year for movies.
It was a good time going back and watching all of these.
Touchstone was my childhood.
Same here!
Great video man! So many bangers released in 87!
Don’t nobody leave here without singing the blues!
😄
I never saw 3 Men And A Baby but I do remember it being a big hit
I love Stakeout, so underrated
Favorite line from Adventures in Babysitting: something about messin' with the babysitter...I don't quite remember.
Don’t fuck with the lords of hell. Don’t fuck with the babysitter!
@paintrain81 That's the one.

Typical coked up Robin Williams.

It's on Amazon. It's aged about as well as Sharon Stone
Something’s up the the lip sync just in case you didn’t realize it.
Earnest Goes To Camp is a classic movie! So glad I have it on bluray.
This bloke is really annoying.
Haha
March 87 I reported back to Korea for my 2nd tour with the Army! Honestly don’t recall most of these movies from 87!
