"We're not teaching them how to hack" 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ you have to know how to identify malicious script, which means you need to know how it's written, where to look for it etc. There's terms for them and they're distinguished by "Hat" colours. "A White Hat Hacker" is exactly what he's teaching. There's also blue, red, grey, black etc. Each are different types of hackers..... Some crappy coverage on the subject. Lazy journalism.
