Why? Crappy writers, sadly. They moved the stories along, but they let the viewers - many of them young, still unsophisticated adults - think that shot behavior had no consequences if you’re important to the plot. Well, sure, sometimes, if you’re stinking rich, or in a TV show. Not in RL.
I find it hard to believe they didn’t run over ANYTHING with Rachel before the performance. She knew pretty much all the choreography and when to sing (and when not to sing) and the right harmonic tune!

I'm finding it so hard to watch these scenes. Knowing who was sadly lost and knowing that all the while Puck turned into an actual caring guy, he was this incredibly dark and creepy person in private. Seeing him grab Heather's hand during this performence with such a friendly face... urgh! As much as I loved this show it's almost like a curse. Death, crime, drug abuse... such troubled people.
Amber is so much better than Lea. She, Jenna and Naya should have gotten more leads. They are amazing talents. No offense to Lea. She is incredible as well
