Julley from NZ , I agree. Never Ever lose your culture, language , dialect and way of life. This is 100% important now to not just preserve but to live , speak , eat and love your culture ad more importantly Dharma which mixes well together of course) Especially never copy west. Modern west is not good in many ways and most people have lost any traditional culture , way of life and food and all of that. It is incredibly important and I truly mean incredibly important to not let an ancient 1000s of years old culture to disappear because people like western stuff or other cultures. This isn't me saying that Stanzin Garskit isn't doing that because this song and her songs are absolutely beautiful truly and she also respects and loves Zanskar and Ladakhi culture which is good. I Love her music and makes me smile and miss Ladakh. But all Zanskari , Ladakhi , Pangwali , Lahauli , Spiti , Kinnauri , pahari , Bhoti of all types and All Himalayan people be truly proud of your ancient culture and dharma as it is truly the best in the world and most pure. All else is a distraction from what is truly important. Exploring other cultures is no problem but always remember where you are from what you culture and religion and the you will always stay strong and humbly proud.
