I love how the gundam designs have always consistently shown growth and development in their designs as the UC progresses through its time line, as much as I love the series like seed and 00 when you see the next gundam model in them it tends to feel like an upgrade or more like a power up and don't get me wrong strike freedom and 00 raiser are 2 of my favourite gundams, but Mark 2, nu gundam, unicorn you can still see the grandaddy gundam on their design but it's become more with every incarnation with unicorn being the pinnacle and phenex above that combing both unicorn and banshee, I didn't mention narrative gundam as while I do like it, I felt like it was more of a revival of unicorn but god damn UC forever ❤️
The Unicorn Gundam itself seemingly had either a better psycoframe or a better pilot than either the Banshee or Phenex. It was capable of warping and controlling space-time after all, though that was the absolute peak of its capabilities. But that alone makes it far more dangerous than even the Turn A/X.
@@mrbuttocks6772 that’s a whole lotta fact and shit that I’m just loving lol, but you do make an exceptional point, which makes me wonder if phenex was a shelved prototype model but eventually finished post unicorn outside of combat data and banshee a rushed rival at best. Banshee had an excellent look but like the points you made about unicorn paled in comparison. I can’t help but wonder if unicorn had some ability that let it evolve into what it would become, I say that lol o counter act my statement about phoenix because in terms of active service unicorn had a longer career and more chance to evolve.
@@lp1spiritguidance577 In truth it seems like the 'base design' was the same across all three. But it seems as though the Unicorn was an actual combat ready/intended service suit. While the Banshee and Phenex were testbeds and reserve units. The 'full body' psycoframe was a new and very volatile technology, which as far as we know was only ever used on these three suits. It eventually proved too unreliable for use, as it was likely the tech was stupid expensive to make and maintain. So they just stopped using it, though the insane capabilities of suits equipped with the tech would be a tantalizing prize indeed. Though it is possible the Unicorn was never even actually 'completed' as it seems certain systems found in both the Phenex and Banshee never got put into it, such as the 'arm blasts' of the Phenex.

The perfect grade unicorn kit has a "Unchained Form" where a bunch of the destroy mode plating flares out an extra step. It feels like something that was scrapped from the show/ova, and i think it would have fit perfectly in the scene where it rallies to break free from neo zeong, like immediately before it inverts sinanju's forearm

for me, Gundam Narrative and one of the best U.C. Timeline movies, I love the movie! too bad it lasted only 1h30, I would have preferred which lasts 2 hours like the other gundam films to better develop its universe, these characters etc. . .
a lot of people say that Gundam Narrative has a poor animation compare to Gundam Unicorn, for me: Narrative has better animation than Gundam Unicorn (its in my opinion)
my preferred mobile follows from Gundam Narrative:
- number one: sinanju stein
- number two: phenex gundam
- number three: the new geara zulu
number four: the new Jesta units
I am the only one to have seen a lord of the final battle of Gundam Narrative of the mobile follows of Gundam Unicorn, we can see type units: Rezel type C and Jegan-A2. all in all i love the movie, and i really like the sinanju stein pilot!
I'll agree that I think the designs for the suits are really cool but the pilots are terrible we get no bags or really on who any of them are we see the same flashback three or four times and we don't get to know any of them really none of them have any strong beliefs or anything and then walking away the unicorn at the end essentially saying oh yeah the psycho frame is too powerful now like seriously. the point of unicorn in the UC century timeline in general is people bettering themselves and using technology to further advance The connection between people and pilots but instead they decide to lock away the unicorn in the psycho frame I'm sorry I have to disagree with you on the story I absolutely hate it. The animation was great the music was great fight scenes were great desserts were great but the story was absolutely terrible and there is no message in this movie it doesn't feel like a well written Gundam movie to me.

I love unicorn but narrative just fell flat for me I thought the suits were cool and the fighting's were OK but the story was terrible and I hate that they locked away the unicorn. Like seriously Benajah what the hell happened to not lockibg away possibility and using things to benefit everyone but no we're just gonna secretly sweep all that shit under the rug now like what the hell were they thinking with that movie.
To be fair it was better to keep it locked away then let the Federation destroy it
@@thealmightyultimus3832 a narrative he still operating in secret using a silver bullet suppressor he could just have done that using the unicorn they still wouldn't be able to find him or track it down let alone destroy it and if they did manage to engage in a fight it's not very likely they'd win considering we've seen what Bungher and the unicorn can do in action. By the way I still cannot spell his name.
