I just wanted to say thank you. I'm a lower skill level player with some handicaps irl and your info about ex augments helped me switch to ex augments with a lot more survivability and I'm dying a lot less now! I was also able to snag an anaddi for under 1m still so I'm performing better than ever and am able to be of use to fellow players in UQ much more than before. Augmenting is complicated but you made it so much easier to understand.
Tank EX is so underrated. Two of my weapons have stealth wall. One of them has Heavy Attack Protect too. It's very cozy. I always try to have at least one tank aug on my weapons
Important notice! If your weapon doesn't have EX augments on it yet, do not, I repeat DO NOT, affix any augments on it before transferring the EX augments. When there's no EX augments on the weapon, this transfer will overwrite ALL of your augments with just the EX augments. So before affixing other augments, please transfer EX augments on it first! Once you have EX augments on, EX augment transfer is safe then, and only then. Alternatively, you can affix your augments on the Eredim weapon that has the desired EX augments and then transfer ALL augments to your final weapon. Transfers from Eredim weapons should not require an augment transfer pass, whether it's EX augment transfer or all augment transfer.
I'm fairly sure they don't because it would lead to toxicity, especially if it occurred on quest failure; great recipe for having people yell at each other for not doing enough. Maybe if it told you just your own damage and the average damage per person?
Highstira Domina is 3.5% potency + 2.75% floor potency. Whilst the other HighDomina's are all 3.0% potency + 2.0 - 2.50% floor potency respective of the High Dominas.
idk if anyone noted it but I didn't hear it stated but you can skip pass Dostasis/Duo xelio series completely as they have the option to go from exelio/ektasis straight to Tre/tri series resource cost is the same however if one wanted to just wait to upgrade their wpn instead of going Duo then Tri or armors since you have to make sure its unlocked and unequiped to evolve it, they could farm all the mats and skip the mid stage of upgrading the armor/wpn and be instantly at end stage. which is a nice bit of info i noticed. overall, i will leave a decent Aug rec list for ones that can used for those who don't have the paid augs. since some people might want some names of augs to look for The specialize caps Precision 5, Might 5, tec 5 are never a bad choice may not be universal but are a great filler cap Triblble 2/ one of the specialize Triblble Augs are also nice option thost are just some of the decent augs for replacing the paid aug if its not in budget.
Dying often is annoying. Everyone can get blasted every now and then or have a bad day but when players are "excelling at being face down" that's annoying.
Lol. Sorry about that there was a tapo in there. The pot rod don't see it as a class. He had that's not right. Sorry, but hopefully you get what I say.
even after see this video, i'm sure many players still like "meh, i still gonna use my free equipments". The problem is ngs doesn't have the real RPG content, all the quest or event quest can be cleared by almost every player who already lvl 95. Even the end game content like DFD 2, i saw player in my team still using full LC augment (seriously at least use gladia or halphinale rather than use the LC type). This type of player think that other player can carry them, but honestly they only become a burden. I don't mind in UQ but end game content? come on mannnn.... Sega should add more "REAL" content for people who seriously focusing their equipment (i have high hope in the next update) or just change the genre of the game from RPG into a dressing game, because i saw many people show off their waifu with big bazongaaaaa hanging around in town everyday (even after i log out after 8 hours their still there) rather than doing any quest..
Yeah even when affixing is **WAY EASIER** than base PSO2 and endgame weapons are more accessible people just refuse to upgrade their stuff. like, come on man its RPG, gear progression is the heart of the game I bet when we have our final 15* weapon some arrogance people will continue to use their argentkul weapon like its the only weapon that exist in the game And for some people that be like "oh, i dont want upgrade my equipment it takes too long and it use so much money and it will get obsolete in like a few months" dude the reason it takes long to upgrade is because you are using *OUTDATED* stuff we have 11stars weapon and 10stars unit now and you are using weapon that was meant to be a *STARTER EQUIPMENT* to fight, of course it'll be slow wtf do you want to wait for the game to shutdown first before you start upgrading your gear? "Oh, i cant upgrade i dont have meseta, its so hard to farm meseta" Go farm PSE burst, do daily tasks collect Alpha reactor, Stellar fragment, Snoal and sell them if you do all of that you will get at least *250K* meseta a day and probably *1M* if you spend *1hr PSE farming* if you can farm for that 10M meseta hairsyle you can farm for upgrades Get weapon first then augments If you dont have augment you just have to keep grinding, either farm for materials or farm meseta to buy one, you dont have to farm for x10 capsules you can just use x1 +augment booster to affix gamble, I know it sound scary but thats how i affix my gear (and of course im not premium i dont use augment protection) its painful to fail affixing and I've lost countless capsules but still way more cheap and faster than using x10 capsules
@@devlkerhextalker4461 yeah even for me as F2P i can still make a BiS augment (only missing 2 GDK II), if we do daily and collect alpha reactor etc. we can make at least 3 augs from BiS. Especially event like this when people can get lux halphinale and gran gladia soul for free. I manage to collect 20 gran gladia soul and put it in all my amor, i gamble with 15% aug success rate without N-aug protection and still got 3 gran gladia soul left after gamble. The thing is majority of player only concern about their LOOK and didn't care about equipment. I just hope sega make more quest that cannot be completed with player who didn't upgrade their equipment, i think this gonna make them more motivated to upgrade later (hopefully)
There has never been a reason to chase end game augments in NGS and calling them "end game" when we are NOT at the end game like base pso2 is wild. If you are writing down peoples names who die in UQs I think you need to either stop caring, stay away from public content, step away from the game or seek therapy, seriously. You are just helping to cultivate toxic behavior that we don't need anymore of in NGS.
The current gearing situation just pins players against each other. Like Kero said, he takes notes of players who die a lot. Well not everyone wants to spend hours and hours a day to grind in order to get these stats. Not to mention, NGS is ran on potato servers that lag and spaz constantly. Some players have it a lot worse than others especially if they are in areas without good internet or can’t afford the best. All of this has created a superiority culture in the game that has only contributed to its ongoing downfall. These systems do not encourage or enable new players whatsoever. These systems also do nothing but tire and frustrate continuing players. At this point, the combat is superfluous to the game’s enjoyment. A good portion of the players resort to just using it as a social outlet. Who can blame them? The developers have made the combat and gearing systems as unenjoyable they possibly could.
You make some good points. Blind PSO lovers like myself just deal with the system and don't lose any sleep over it but players who aren't loyal and are objective could see all of this gearing as too complicated, expensive, and not worth the end result.
Just don't join competitive alliance and you're good to go, all this elitism nonsense are mostly coming from folks who invested so much into this game and they are usually stick to their own group, so you don't have to worry about that. Just have fun, play the content you can clear, follow kero progression guide by enhancing your gear when you can afford it, and pimped up your character then showing it to your friends. Trust me folks in public are not really that concerned if you have a bad gear, or die a lot. But well my experience is come from playing ship 4, other ship might differ idk.
Basically this, you even have comments here where people are roasting new/casual players for simply wanting to play the game the way they most enjoy it. Instead of wanting sega to actually improve these systems they're blaming casuals for not wanting to grind 4 hours to upgrade their gear in a game where simply levelling a weapon when you have all the necessary materials takes minutes of mindlessly pressing the same buttons in a menu until the number finally reachest the max. NGS is a game that's stuck in 2017, the systems are so outrageously dated. It's like the people who play this game religiously have never played a game that's released since 2020.
It's not complicated just there are too many augment capsules. High level combat zones should drop more III or IV augments. Could even start to drop I or II Gigas capsules, just so it is easier to grind for them as you'd still need minerals to get the higher end versions.
Never really understood midgame augmenting. Like yeah sure, replacing the LC caps with the "real capsules" nets you like... what 15? 20 potency? But all those caps you just spent (more than a dozen of each? Probably 40 of each if youre unlucky) are the primary materials for the augs that are actually good and worth using.
LOL, it must be a case of 'ship to ship' variation because it seems like everyone I know is either a Braver or a Warrior. Here's how I see it: most people I encounter are Bravers, Warriors, Gunners, or Wakers-if I'm getting the name right, if not, I apologize, please don't grill me on it. Then there's Slayer. Some might see it as a subclass, but honestly, I don't really perceive it as a class. Sure, I might see five or six people running around as Slayers, but that's about it. It's probably because I don't pay much attention to them. Who knows? I do know that weapons for Bravers and Slayers fetch a very high price on my ship, even if they only have a level three fixer on them. People go crazy for that. I'm probably going to resell it after leveling it up.

I wish Sega add a score board that pop up at the end of the quest/mission so you can see how much damage every one did.

Kero I appreciate your effort to create real examples of gear to use in the videos. That is a true sacrifice of augments and meseta.
Yo, that Garfield suit in the beginning was mad sick.
Skip duo selio and go directly from exelio to tri selio.
For every game, the best gear doesnt bring the dmg if you cant play your class :)
