I watched this movie for the very first time last year as a 38yo after being intrigued by the Mezco figure (I'm a 1/12 soft goods customizer/collector), and I was blown away. A masterpiece. I bought the figure immediately. It's incredible.
Also, while I think the new movie is an abomination, it IS interesting that the stunt double/stand-in for Brandon Lee was Chad Stahelski, who is the director of the new one (and John Wick)

I believe the tape was used to bandage himself up after he was attacked by Funboy with the cutthroat Razor. You see it fall on the floor when he's dealing with Darla and then it just cuts away.
It’s been a while since reading it, but I believe in the graphic novel, the tape was covering self-inflicted wounds. I don’t think those wounds healed at all which is why he just taped himself up. You should definitely read it.
The skeleton thing is known simply as the Skull Cowboy and the actual backstory they implied for him is pretty cool but I agree that the story overall works without his inclusion
Hi Dean! I also had Fun and Sad memories, of The Crow Brandon Lee aka Eric Draven. Totally Outstanding looking Mezco Eric Draven 1/12 Scale Figure. The Detailing and High Quality, looked absolutely Astonishing. And though it's not Perfect, it could almost Pass for Hot Toys. 🤩😃😁👍👍
The definitive 1/12 scale eric draven figure imo.....id love to see mezco attempt a comic style one tho.....this figures price is gonna shoot up after the release of the reboot.
Mezco went all out with the Eric Draven 1/12th scale figure. All four head sculpts look good, even though they aren't necessarily 100% accurate when it comes to Brandon Lee's likeness. The outfit has been nicely stitched and tailored. However, the longevity of the pleather is questionable. Hopefully, it will last a long time. The overall sculpt and details have been done rather well. The paint application is pretty good, aside from the two lines that run through the eyes. Articulation is pretty good. The figure comes included with a lot of accessories, which is always a huge plus. I like the display stand as well. Solid work on the part of Mezco! Brandon Lee will always be The Crow. Nobody else can play the role except him. God rest his soul! I recently watched the trailer for the new Crow movie and I honestly regret doing so. It's an utter disaster and a piece of trash. It's nothing more than a lazy cash grab, plain and simple. It's a remake that shouldn't be made because it isn't worthy of being made to begin with. It's stomach churning, disgusting, soulless, and lifeless. Nice work as always! Thanks, Dean! I really appreciate the hard work, dedication, and passion! God bless and stay safe!
A new subscriber. . Just wanted to ask what do you know about Mesco the shadow I can’t find it anywhere on big bad toy store or anywhere the big three or four toy store do you know if it’s coming out ? People are selling it on eBay now ?
Although this is a great set, i really wish they could have done a better sculpt on the heads. I'm torn on buying this or not. Nope to the remake movie. It's going to be a complete mess and totally unnecessary

I remember when this figure came out, they didn't advertise the guns he came with. So it was a surprise seeing them in the package when it delivered.

I think he was taped up because he can't heal properly after he absorbs the drugs from Darla. Great video by the way great looking piece
