    Man JJ they haven’t been sending my your vids. I feel your pain. The Advil and Prednisone are for inflammation. There’s stuff they can do with epidurals and nerve ablation. Not taking opioids is the best thing ever. What works for me, as sciatica is one of my lesser back issues, is heat or ice and LOW IMPACT yoga whereby it’s mostly stretching. I’ve also heard Tai Chi helps. Haven’t tried that yet. Aqua therapy is good too. I do stretching in the tub. Hope you feel better. I’m going to catch up on your other vids now.

    I had back issues from weightlifting almost 20 years ago. What are you Gotta do is stop doing what aggravate it and then that’ll start the healing process and then at some point you need to start to try to build strength in your core and over a long enough timeline between not aggravating it, and then it healing, and then you trying to build core strength, you’ll probably get to a point where you can live pain free and do your job but the bad news is is I think a bad back is something that stays with you forever so you always have to be careful and conscious of what you’re doing

      Yeah, I think you're right Sir Knutts. Problem is, driving is what aggrivates it. 😭 Not sure what I'm gonna do.

    Hey JJ, maaaaan I feel your pain... literally. I've been there and still going though it. My advice is first off, be extra careful with any pain meds, addiction is no joke and creeps up on you. Also see if you can get spinal shots to help, its not a fix but they may help for the time being. I've been following your channel since not long after you started and was considering trucking myself before my back went out. Honestly my back going out reeeally messed up my life, divorce etc. I'm only saying this to tell you to be aware of how hard this new journey (and it is) really is. If your insurance covers surgery take it. Keep you head up and take care my man. Were all rooting for ya.

    I have had sciatica for the past 20 years. Doctors are like mechanics and 9 out of 10 are completely worthless. When I have a problem I immediately find out who is the best doctor in a particular specialty within a somewhat reasonable distance and schedule an appointment. An average mediocre doctor will ruin your life and I learned that first hand as a teenager.
    Around 5 years ago I had just woke up and I was laying in bed watching tv doing my normal morning routine when I decided to get up and go to the bathroom and when I tried to stand up my legs just wouldn't work and I fell to the ground like a rock. I laid on the floor for about an hour until I got a friend on the phone to come over and help me up. I knew I had to urinate so I had my friend help to the toilet where I could sit down and after spending 20 minutes on the toilet unable to urinate and at that point I said it's time to go to the emergency room. When I got to the emergency room they immediately took me back and sent me to imaging and the entire time I had to urinate so bad but I couldn't. After imaging they took me to a procedure room to address my ready to explode bladder and with the help of a tube the gushing river of urine was euphoric and at that time the imaging results were in and I was told I had Cauda Equina syndrome and they were scheduling emergency spinal surgery to decompress nerves. Immediately after surgery I had regained some use of my legs and it was too soon to know about bladder function because I was still on the bag after surgery. After 3 days in the hospital right before I was about to be released they had me try to urinate and I was unsuccessful so back goes the tube and try again in 2 weeks. It took almost a year for me to regain satisfactory bladder control and it is still not perfect and I still get the occasional urinary retention and incomplete voiding which I learned to manage myself.

    Hi JJ! I hope you feel better soon!! Your in my home Town (Tucson) ❤ Maybe you can talk to your Dr and have him refer you to a pain management, where they could do a epidural to the nerve to relieve the pain?

    • @JJtheTrucker
      @JJtheTrucker  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah he said that's what the ortho specialist might do after an MRI. That doesn't sound pleasant either lol.

    You get worker's comp as an owner-op?

    • @JJtheTrucker
      @JJtheTrucker  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      All states offer workers comp for self employed. Some states (like Nevada) actually require it. I pay $73 per week ($3800/yr). In my case, Landstar took care of getting it set up through their insurance company, and took the deduction straight from my settlement which made it easy.
