And you both have strong opinions and often differ; the "who do you think this scooter is best for" is the icing on the cake. Bravo boys!

Thanks for the video and review! I got a chance to ride a friend's OXO and really enjoyed the ride. I have always thought Inokim make solid scooters from way back in the day. I bought an Inokim Light 2 scooter for my wife to ride around San Francisco. She loves how her Inokim rides with the dual drum brakes. The wheel mounting system is great for ease of tire changes and repairs. I have done many tire changes on my Kaabo Mantis and can really appreciate the innovation along with the split rims.

It does look really good with the orange and black fabrication -i myself am spoiled by my ETwoW’s foldability because the handle bars collapse so you can fit 2 or 3 in a small trunk -im enjoying all the stylish designs steadily coming out but really what we need is Uscooter to release a dual motor design to bring in their specialty in folding up to the smallest possible size for transport

I wanted to help you revise your reviews so this occured to me as well. A lot of people mention hill climbing which if you have the grade can give your audience an idea of the torque, the ability to use in situations where you live near a lot of hills or just plain like climbing. I am 56 and still love to use my scooter to climb hills even when it is unnecessary!

I bought the King and have had issues with how quickly the wheels break traction. You just touch the throttle and thats it it is doing a friggen wheelie. I found this to be true despite having changed the P settings for accel, torque, percent ... if it is in dual mode it will rip your arms fromt the handle bars. This Oxo looks appealing as I realize, for me, the pulling away with the wheels spinning is only fun for a very short time so I understand where Jimmy is coming from. One thing I would comment is I see you testing scooters in the cold and that would seem to skew results. I found my old Apolloa Explorer have a very different power level in the cold. Re

@@freshlycharged I liked it so much I kept it when I usually give them away or sell em but I ran it hard and went on stuff I really shouldn't have (blue rated bike trail) , so I jacked the rotor and had to switch it out, that caused a ton of pain cause it's super tricky to switch them out. Recently the powers been acting up, I hit the throttle and no juice, I'm actually in talks with customer service to get it figured out. I'll respond later on this thread to update ya. That being said, still one of my favorite scooters just watch out for the rocks, if they switched to drum brakes (which aren't the best) or added some protective screen or something to prevent hitting the rotors, this would be the ultimate scooter, it's got the power to go anywhere.

Just wondering if anyone might know how to make it less sensitive. Our one seems to be full send as in when taking off there isn’t a way to get a slow steady easy take off if this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

    • @freshlycharged
      @freshlycharged  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

I love the unique looks of both scooters but for different reasons. The VSETT 10+ has amazing power and torque, especially in sport mode that many will love and it goes faster than the Inokim OXO which has a more controlled acceleration. I'm not a speed racer, so I prefer the Inokim OXO acceleration.

I don’t agree, the acceleration needs to be smoother, I partner had the scooter fly out from underneath her because the acceleration/throttle can’t be feathered for a gradual take off!
Oxo likes aggressive lean forward to counteract the massive torque.
The torque needs to be far more controlled and a smoother more gradual increase.
    The throttle isn’t one I’d like .
The Inokim scooter however is beautiful and great product

Just got one went out to test it first thing I noticed was the throttle 0 to 40% press is a dead zone nothing really happen go a lil bit more pass 50 then you feel the kick of motor start working it’s pretty difficult to ride under 5 mph because of the throttle throwing you off balance but above 5mph it’s fine small movement on the throttle to avoid those jerky pulls. I do not recommend taking one hand off the handle bar it will throw you on the ground it almost happens to me luckily I was riding slow was able to run off the scooter if I was going any faster I would’ve hit the ground

I always ride in traffic so I like to stay ahead of most cars when pulling away from an intersection. I don't want to become someone's hood ornament. I'm glad you were able to get a top speed of 40+mph from it. ESG's review of their OXO only got it up to a top speed of 36+mph which was disappointing. Glad you are now into doing scooter reviews Jimmy. Looks like we just lost Wrong Way which sucks because his scooter reviews were among the best on YT imo. Don't really know what happened there.

@wrongway is one of my favorites for EUC and escooter content. He's just following his passions. Life's too short to ride something you don't love.

@@freshlycharged I think there might be something more to it than that, something negative occurred while he was checking the Wolf King out, but I don't know really for sure.

@@chrisb.1214 from speaking with him I find it's mostly due to his passion for EUCs over eScooters. People ask him what scooter they should buy and his response is always, "EUC." 😂

I have an OXO and can tell you that if both motors are engaged (little red button) it takes off very quick from an intersection. I can beat most cars across unless of course they stand on it.

I'm not a fan of the thumb drive. Thumb drive is great for slow scooters but doesn't work well with scooters that go over 30 mph. For that price, it should come with an electronic horn, headlights, and turn signals. Meh. There's better options out there for that price.

    • @vladimator1842

My thoughts exactly!!! I was thinking of the same exact perks to have been added with the scooter at that price!! Even the Dualtrons don't come with electronic horns!! I'm very shocked by it, and would like to know....."why?!!"

Jimmy uses goofy stance, alright! Safer to ride that way as well, especially if your afraid of getting hit by a car door.

What sucks with Inokim is their stem. Hard to add accessories

In some cases you can add things to a wide stem using zipties as hillbilly as that sounds I've had success.

China is a country not a people. The virus is from China I would say CCP but I would never say from the Chinese. I like to descriminate by not people or a peoples. Instead there is such a concentration on race these days more than I have ever seen.
