No, actually Facundo won 4-3. You don’t get to make up rules because you don’t like how it went
The rule stating that the quad pod position isn't a takedown is ridiculous, made even worse when the ref called a stalemate. A terrible call.
Hamiti won this bout 4-4, on criteria.
Facundo defense 🥉 if quad pod finished instead of stalemate it would br 5 4. You don't understand the sport

I mean, they're two Freshmen, so...meh. Hamiti CLEARLY out-wrestled Facundo though. It was baffling to me how they called Hamiti for passivity and not once Facundo and then calling that stalemate on Facundo? You don't call a stalemate that quickly when scoring is imminent.
Just two future studs going at it. Hamiti needs to get a little bigger(and it looks like he has). Facundo will get better even if it's against his will in that room. The Badgers has Rowley and from what I heard, Sinclair looks like he's headed there(Hopke also, but don't know that'll help Hamiti too much).
These other schools need to build their RTCs. Can't compete with PSU. They lured Cael away with a package worth 2.5M from the school, another ~3M from the Boosters, plus accommodations(so you don't have to pay for the massive home that came with the deal).
And he goes from a Iowa...which isn't a great state for recruiting and he moves to THEE best state and he's right by NJ/NY and battling with Ohio. And at this point, he can reach out and go for anyone he wants.
