That's what I think too. I think they've sent the cops in one direction, knowing he's heading in the opposite direction. And we're told he's been gone since Tuesday, but for all we know he's been gone for a week or more.

The FBI has a handle on this case, I’m started to think Brian brought Gabby back to Florida and left her somewhere in Florida. So Gabby’s parents might be looking I the wrong place. Brian and his parents are certainly hiding a lot. Obviously Brian’s parents are no more trust worthy that Brian. Brian could be over the border by now. An the local police look the other way, Gabby is a resident of the same community. Josh doesn’t seem concerned about Gabby. Just looking the other way while Brian escapes. This spokesperson is just not much of a detective.

Some of y’all really don’t understand the law....at this point there is NO crime....only speculation...he can’t be forced to talk, nor can the parents and y’all are just assuming he has told his parents everything....running from what, again no crime so far ....yes it was her van or rental but she has to report it missing, he can say she told him to take it....we have video evidence (the Utah police released the hour long video) of her admitting to twice assaulting him and both times she AND the witnesses who reported it state he tried to neutralize her and she still refused to calm down...he locked her out of the car until she calmed down bc she was putting her hands on him....the cops could have charged her and almost did...she lost her crap over dirty feet and dirt bc she is OCD....he had scratches and bruises on his face and neck...she had non....she stated she didn’t do the driving he did...guy tried to protect her from the cops....went so far as to ask if they could arrest him and not her....their stories matched...they didn’t have time to plan that...it also matched the witness statement....look I think this whole thing is shady too....but for all we know she went at him again on a trail or elsewhere and when trying to get her off him she fell/got hurt and he panicked....the whole incident in UTAH gives reasonable doubt if a body was found and it was not clearly murder...it could be argued an accident in court....everyone is acting as if he is evil incarnate and from what I have seen she also has her issues....if a man attacked a woman twice everyone would be acting different.....wait on the evidence...I am not saying he is innocent I am saying stop assuming....

Brian has been noted as an interested person regarding the whereabouts of Gabby Petito.
Would it have been a stronger act had the local police noted Brian as a suspect for a
possible murder act? Could this have kept Brian detained until more fact turned up?
Allowing him to only be an interesting person may have been to easy when in fact he has
been all along the only person that could have given Gabby's family more details as to
why Gabby could not be found. As being the last person with her and in light of the fact
that there may have been an argument or one smoldering between the two these facts
should have, could have given officials a stronger right to detain Brian long before his
disappearance. Could this have been murder, or an accident or a kidnapping we must
find out facts. With so many officials searching for Gabby could it be likely we may
never know her whereabouts? Should this remain an unsolved case it would be appalling.
If, with multiple official sources assigned to finding Gabby have no further results than
when they started a few weeks ago it may be proof there could be more to Gabby's
disappearance than we know. Too many stories of young women disappearing go
without attention and eventually fade. Prayers go out to Gabby's family and friends
hopefully at some point she is found. Don't stop the questions and don't stop the search.

I think there are way better ways of going about that. Having everyone searching and wondering where you are doesn't seem peaceful. If you want to live off the grid it's best to do that as smoothly as possible by informing your family and friends of your intentions. When you have travel plans as they did and want to start a blog or vlog, your intention isn't to become a hidden nomad. She wanted to be in the public eye. I wish you were right though.
