You have some impressive patterns there. I am finishing my first Mill Hill. I was sure it would be hard, but after I figured out what they meant by the bead being placed vertically, it hasn't been that hard for me. The kit I have came with perforated paper which I kind of like because it's pretty firm and has to be done in hand so I bead as I go, which I think makes stitching the piece easier. I'd like to see you start the Mill Hill you have. I don't know what kind of fabric would be good with it though.

I'm glad to hear it wasn't too hard for you. My kit also came with perforated paper but I want to finish it as a flat fold so I think I'll need to stitch it on fabric instead.

You have some lovely chart, but you learn later in life that your taste has changed. I have given away more charts than you have in your collection because I out grew them and I still have more in my things than you do. That is just cross stitch we won't begin to talk about the other dozen crafts or arts I do. Thank you for sharing you have great taste. Mid Amish Life is a very big project so expect it to take years and enjoy the journey.

Thank you for watching 😊 I have noticed that some of the charts I purchased long ago I don't love as much anymore. I want to be intentional about how I spend my money, so for me the best way to do that going forward is for me to buy a chart when I'm ready to stitch it. I know most people don't do it that way so please don't stone me!
