In the second combo Swordknight and coatl negates aren’t active unless you control chimera the mythical flying beast so if u use it as material for guardian chimera the negates are no longer live

how can this deck protect against something like evenly/raigeki/non-monster board clears? Because it seems like most of the negates (like the first combo) is just monster negates.
Board breaker you would have to use chimera fusion in the main phase. Small chimera can summon a monster from the grave. You could probably go into magnum, predaplant, or maybe big chimera to keep the negates in grave live

Depends on the hand but usually you either die or use the branded fusion and do things without drawing. That is the downside to the chimera cards, so crossout or thrust/tactics is worth being tested for counterplay to droll
I find it very curious that they don't summon dragoon, apparently they don't know the "Evenly Matched" card in their stores, the combo is very good but it solves many problems that the deck has, I counted about 5 bricks
hi mate some feedback - have your mat the right way round, you dont need to call every card 'everyones favourite' just to fill the air, and personal pet peeve u dont need to shuffle your hand like that in videos its unnecessary. overall good content but some things to consider bud

Branded opening is one hell of a card and your best out for board clears like raigeki. Sanc plays around evenly.

So you can activate chimera fusions fusion effect more than once ?
The graveyard effect is once per turn but you could fusion summon as much as you can

sorta not really if you main dragoon you just go dragoon and out whatever board is behind a shifter

The nice part of this deck is that it plays through ashe quite nicely! Not so much 2 negates but that might be any deck without a called by...
I've added Nightmare Magician to my deck. Works well imo.
