Thank for pointing out level sites. We have an older Class C with no leveling jacks, so a level site is appreciated. When we had our fifth wheel, the front to back was no issue since we had front jacks.
Sugar! We've been ON the road for a week. Seems like a month for some reason. 😆 Who knows where we will end up. But headed East and North East. I'd like to do Nova Scotia. We'll see.
Just ran across your video. Showers at Mammoth Cave Campground are located at the camp store adjacent to the campground check-in kiosk. Be sure and take lots of Quarters, as the showers are not free. The dump station was just a short distance on the left after you come through the checkin kiosk. We always stay in C Loop, which makes for a short walk to the dumpsters and the store.
I liked this spot. At first I had my doubts about my OLD batteries, but each morning they were at 67-68%. Whoa! All I care about is keeping the fridge/freezer running without depleting the batteries. It worked! And YES!!! A very quiet spot inside the park. No vehicle noise.
@@garlandstyle5797 :) its good your batteries are still working for you. I must say it sure is nice having solar and not having to use the generator all the time. Where are you heading next and is this going to be a long road trip?
@@thetraveltrailerguy Hey Michael. Yes, I'm very happy that the batteries don't need replaced yet. I only really needed the generator to recharge my laptop. We are headed east, over into WV, NJ, DE, RI, CT, MD, those New England states we haven't been to yet. No definite plans of where next though I plan out about 2 weeks in advance. Then? Not sure, but maybe Nova Scotia.
Hi Frank. I have a cheapo Harbor Freight 1600/2000 watt generator. It works just fine for topping off the batteries. I've had it almost 6 yrs. Changed the oil twice and it is a champ. Starts right up on the second pull. Bear in mind, this little generator won't run the AC, iffy on the microwave, but serves it's purpose on recharging the batteries. :)
Wow your close to me. I live in Lexington and will be at Twin Knobs campground near Morehead, Ky this weekend in the Micro lite. Was wondering if they honoured the senior pass for a campsite discount there?
OH. Wanted to clarify on the discount. Mammoth Cave CG is a 50% discount for seniors. $12.50/day. My Old Kentucky Home CG is a 10% discount for seniors.

That's why I made a lot of early videos, to point out good sites with minimal leveling and length. :) Happy camping.
I've missed your tours, glad you are back out on the road!!!❤️❤️❤️

Hi Mr. Garland. What brand of generator do you have and are you pleased with it's performance? Great work on the videos. Enjoy the good life!

@@garlandstyle5797 thanks for the info. I have heard good things about the harbor freight generators.

Yes, they did give me a $5.50 discount for a Senior Pass. :) 10%
I'll post a video of the campground in a 2 days Mike. There are a LOT of uneven sites at this campground. Watch for the lengths of the sites.
