This is pretty solid scale modeling! 👍 I really like the scratch building in the cabin and the engine, which gives the model the perfect touch!!! Best regards from Germany!

An incredible build on what I have heard is a less than perfect kit. You make the Riveting look so simple but I always go off at an angle. What tool is the riveter? 10/10 for this masterpiece.
Nice build but I have one small to tweak to suggest. Outter ring shielding on exhaust should be silver. Yours is in color of camo. I would not use that type of exhaust but the oter one that is more narrow. Otherwise very decent built! Great job. I learned something new.

When you clean the ink un minute 6:15, is the stick cotton dry? Or wet with any thinner or cleaner? How many minutes passes since you apply the ink til you clean it (in real time)? Thanks!
Sorry for this late answer. so, To clean I use several material but all with cleaner (but not to much), I wait in general from 10 to 15 mn between wash and cleaning.

Напал на маркетплейсе на отдельные декали клепки . На сколько я понял клепка объёмная. Посоветуйте пожалуйста , когда её нужно клеить ? Изначально на пластик , или уже после покраски и смывки ?
Thank you. To thin the paint I use vallejo thinner or Just water. The vallejo air are espacially done for airbrush so post of the time you do not need any thinner
You ever do the clear molded Enterprise D model by any chance? I've had it in the box for a few years, and I want to try and built it using the LED lighting kit, but I've never tried it, or using the window mask stuff..........love this build BTW, and thanks for any help you can give me. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
I done one a very long time ago. I use fiberlights on mine and it is very easy to do with a bit of preparation. As I know you can find light kits on the after maket (often it is easier to use these kind of product than do it by yourself). I didn't seach on youtube or dailymotion but I suppose you can find videos on the subject. For the windows masks it is very easy to use. 2 methods: the adhesive but you have to take care of the cuting directly on the windows ot the liquid mask that you can apply with a brush. if you are beginner and you are afraid to damage the windows, I recomand to use liquid mask that you can find very easy on the market.

Very nice job. Just got this kit as a present. Since I’m just getting back into the hobby looking to duplicate your effort, but have a question or two. What size wire did you use for detailing? Did your treat the paint prior to applying the wash? If so, what did you use. Thanks for sharing,
First of all thanks for your comments and welcome back in scale modeling! Concerning the size of the wire, I use several size from 0,2 to 1,5 lead wires. For your second question I don’t treat the paint because I use the wash from AMMO. Same for oil paint which come from AMMO too.

Я не работаю с таким видом декалькомании. Это зависит от... Если это рельеф, то до покраски. Если просто точки, то после.

It depend of the model but generaly it is correct. fitting could be better but nothing so hard

Sure. It is liquid mask. You can choose the brand you want... Mine is from Humbrol.

I got this kit.. and my biggest disappointment? ZERO SURFACE DETAIL.. all that money for nothing.. btw you did a beautiful job on this kit bud.
You are true! But sometimes it could be interesting to start on a poor detailed surface especially when you want to do damages or other things
