You'll often see chunks of the same language from multiple commenters, especially right after the MV drops. The views work their way around the globe as people in later time zones start waking up and find the new MV. Large clusters of Russian, Turkish, Indian, English, and Spanish seem particularly common.
Additionally, for title tracks anyway, the fandom usually splits the world into two teams (say, Europe + Africa + Australia & Oceania + Europe vs all of the Americas + Asia) who then mass stream during different hours and compete to see which team is "winning." It's an interactive motivational tool to help with the view count during the crucial charting period for the first 2-3 weeks. That division also results in language clustering in the comments during the period the mass streaming is going on.

This song is yet another clap back at the haters. They are flying high (succeeding) while the haters keep chasing from the ground. My favorite part is the “na na na na na na” in the middle of the song. They say “fly high” then imagine the next part as schoolyard teasing with your tongue out saying “na na na na na” 😂

At first I was a bit unsure about this song but the more I listened the more it grew on me to a point where it’s become one of my faves from them. The music video made me love it even more. Skz fit this concept SO so well.

Yes, some of them skate (or used to -- they don't really have the time or public space to do it now). Especially Chris/Chan.

Binnie and hannie’s “the dog chasing the chicken will be left staring at the roof” part imo refers to a rooster wind direction thingy? (I don’t remember the exact name for it lol) but it’s just a nice and simple metaphor for “no matter how hard you act or try, we’re always on top”

I think the Super board flyes tho, which comes off as pretty significant, in terms of lyrics. The Skater aehstetic seems more like an MV thing. Which is a decent examble of K-pop MV's fairly often not completely matching the percieved song content. Good tit bit to remember, to avoid unnescesary confusion 🤙

Say what? Lol SkZ are all about fitting the song though...That's one of the things they do best. After all, the guys are responsible for both. That said, it came down to a simple reason they used skateboards... It's the closest, and only, relative that could be used. They had the whole skateboard thing in mind when they wrote it. It matches... I promise.
I mean, I do gotta ask... How exactly are they expected to actually fly? I mean... Many lines of countless tracks are not at all literal in their deepest meaning I'm afraid. Which, In my personal opinion, means we definitely shouldn't expect for them to depict it word for word in the MV either. 🤍 Plus, unfortunately for us, the tech from "Back to the Future" never came to a factual pass. 🥺
It's also important to note this track was only meant to be funny and entertaining. Like many of their songs, it's also "sticky"... Meant to get stuck in your head. It's honestly just a punny song... Quite literally. Albeit it a rather brilliant one. It's basically comprised of all Korean puns with double meanings. Nothing is as it seems. Haha.
So the disconnection you are talking about... It may very well be a kpop thing. But it's definitely not a SKZ thing. That really only happens when a song truly has no meaning below it's thin surface, and they want it to seem more interesting. And/or there's a disconnect between the writer of the song and the producer of the MV. The problem likely being that they're not anywhere close to one another, and/or perhaps the producer didn't even understand the song's meaning. Or they just didn't care lol... Whatever the case is, they end up lacking a connection. That's not at all what's happening here, it's clearly quite connected. I'm quite sure I can say with confidence that you will never find a SKZ song that doesn't connect to the visuals. (Street Versions don't count of course. lol)
There's a lot of abilities and talents the members are and aren't known for having. That said... 3RACHA are very careful about continuity.

I would like to add (although I’m pretty sure you’re already aware of this) that a lot of meaning gets lost in translation. So sometimes some things don’t make proper sense and sometimes some bars don’t hit as hard as they do in the original language of the song or, in this case Korean. Therefore, unless you have fluent/ vast knowledge and understanding of the Korean language and culture, it’s really hard do decipher ACTUAL/ real embedded meanings. Unless you find a REALLy good and ACCURATE translation video with explanations.

This is the case with almost all Korean music (I’m only speaking about Korean rn since the reaction channel is reacting to Kpop lol). BUT not to mention that doesn’t mean EVERY SINGLE song from the group would have a deep meaning lol. Some songs are just more for the vibe.

This is just a b-side which is crazy how they have so many videos done! I love how it's fresh
And about Russian comments, I'm russian and skz have a lot of fans outside of Korea but I guess it might also be cause when mv was out it was 12 am in Korea and about 6-7 pm Russia so they were they more than other comments maybe cause of that
